Stanley Dock Tobacco Warehouse, (Stanley Dock, Liverpool, England) is a grade II listed building and is the world's largest brick warehouse. Standing 125 foot (38 m) high, the building was at the time of its construction in 1901, claimed to be the world's largest building in terms of area. The 14 storey building spans across 36 acres (150,000 m2) and its construction used 27 million bricks, 30,000 panes of glass and 8,000 tons of steel.
I was trying to shoot her when she was a few hundred meters away from the dock, but not until the ship turn such that the starboard reflect the sunlight can I get a satisfactory shot.
The seagull add to the shot as well, although I would prefer to have a few more of them.

The brand new seed stalks are actually somewhat sweet compared the bitter quality in sour dock when they're just bolting from the ground. Eat either cooked or raw.

An imature member of one of the leatherbug families of sheildbugs - the Dock bug ( Coreus marginatus ) I think.

The choppy bay looked like it was covered in sequins with the sun shining on it. It was beautiful.
