Old rotting boat dock at Lota, sitting there wasting away, there's a few of these round the area, all like this, loved the look of the, and for some reason they worked best in BW.

This was converted to BW and then a calotype filter applied with some curves tweaking to achieve this look, I wanted some way to enhance the old, worn, gritty look of this structure, despite the bright sunlight, im drawn to this sort of thing for some reason.

Old dock parts visible at low tide next to Middlesbrough FC Riverside Stadium. The reflections are from two container ships, Cala Portofino and Cala Positano, which have been moored here for a few years. You can see them in lots of my other photos.
