Well, today was interesting. I'm still pretty pleased with how my life is looking, but I'm still trying to figure out who my friends are and what exactly I'm doing with my life. This picture was really taken in tiredness and annoyance. My back has been killing me, and I've slept more than half of my day. But I'm excited about the end result. I added a Gaussian blur and drop shadow.
I fell that it may be a little too busy but I'm not sure

Engines2 x 115hp Yamaha Outboard

Survivor capacity: 20
Hulls built by Souter Marine (later SAR Composites at Lymington), and tubes by Avon. Final assembly completed at the RNLI Inshore Lifeboat Centre at Cowes, Isle of Wight. The Atlantic 85 replaced the Atlantic 75 in RNLI service.
Communications and navigation Includes
Fitted and hand-held VHF (very high frequency) radio
intercom (Atlantic 85 only)
onboard global positioning system (GPS)
radar (Atlantic 85 only)
VHF direction-finding (VDF) equipment (Atlantic 85 only)
electronic chart
The Atlantic 85 is part of the B-class of lifeboats that serve the shores of the United Kingdom and Ireland as a part of the RNLI inshore fleet.
The Atlantic 85 is the third generation B-class Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) developed from the Atlantic 21 and the later Atlantic 75. The Atlantic design of the B-class of lifeboats is named after Atlantic College, where the design was originally developed.
Design
The hull is constructed in a fibre reinforced composite, consisting of a carbon fibre and foam core laminate with an epoxy glass and foam sandwich layup. The tubes are Hypalon.
The boat is powered by twin 115 hp (86 kW) Yamaha 4-stroke outboard engines that have been inversion-proofed to ensure the engines are still operational after a capsize.
Like previous RIBs, it has a manually operated self-righting mechanism that deploys an airbag mounted atop the A-frame. It is capable of being beached in an emergency without sustaining damage to engines or steering gear. The Atlantic 85 is fitted with radar and VHF direction finding equipment and can be operated safely in daylight in a force 6/7 and at night in a force 5/6.
The Atlantic 85 also has intercom communications between the crew and VHF radio via their helmets, DGPS & Chartplotter. It also carries a searchlight, night-vision equipment and illuminating paraflares for night-time operations.
To ensure equipment is kept to a high standard of repair, boats go through annual or bi-annual overhauls, and 4-year refits.

At the Autonomous Thought's thematic area, I found this multisensorial
installation called Displacements, by Marie Ange Bordas, a master artist
and great photographer.
This wonderful work is the culminate process after three years working
with refugees in comunities. This is a piece of her installation.
Again, I sugest you to spend some time knowing her beautiful work at

Villagers and members of Mahan Sangharsh Samiti strategising about the march to Waidhan Police Headquarters to protest midnight arrests of four of its members by the local police.
During my short trip to document protest for Greenpeace India after the arrests of four activists of Mahan Sangharsh Samiti in May 2014, I also documented daily life, graffiti of resistance, tendu patta collection, trees which will be felled in case mining starts for them.

The zone of fractured rock near the center of this view marks the plane of a small fault. In this area on the southwest edge of the El Paso Mountains, layers of soft, stream-deposited siltstones (gray) and harder stream-deposited sandstones (red) are overlain by a massive layer of pink tuff breccia formed by the consolidation of volcanic ash. Displacement along the fault can be seen by following the contact between a layer of dark gray siltstone and the overlying pink tuff. The block to the left of the fault plane has been displaced upward by about 20 meters. These rocks are part of the Dove Springs Formation, dating from the late Miocene, about 10 million years ago. Note the different jointing in the Dove Springs and the oveling tuff. Red Rock Canyon State Park. Kern Co., Calif.

There are several displacement tutorials on the web. I've replaced this photo as it was looking really weird in Chrome. Discovered that both images used in the process must be in 8 bits, or else the Distort filter will not apply.
All the shape and text layers that you want to distort must be combined into one layer, which must be rasterised. And to do that, you have to convert the layer into a Smart Object.
The second time around, I followed the tutorial to the letter at www.photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/dispmap/dispmap.htm. I also changed the Blend mode of the phone layer to Dissolve.
The other thing I know I did differently this time was to Export the starting image as jpg from Lightroom to CS5, INSTEAD OF opening a jpg version in CS5 from Lightroom. This really seems to matter for Chrome. I also checked the image mode was 8 bits BEFORE I started.
