Couldn’t help but take this photo (looking over a rock between us). Great Blue Heron just sitting at the edge of the bay.
Venice Beach, Venice, Los Angeles (California, USA). Martedì, 5 aprile 2016.
I was walking around the beach at sunset with my Polaroid, looking for a nice scene with the ocean, the sun going down... but nothing stood out.
While I was going back to where I came from, I met this group of guys playing football. One of them looked at the Polaroid and started doing that face "Oh, cool camera! Take us a picture!". I just replied: "If you'd just were playing by the ocean...".
This shot is the direct result of his answer: "Well, let's do it!".
Thanks again Sean, Joshua, Dante and Melik!

The late 1980s threw up another of BRs quirky class 50 diagrams. For a while there was a scheduled Hoover working over the Portsmouth Direct line, 1P15, the 09:25 Waterloo - Portsmouth Harbour. From there the diagram took it on as 1V12 12:03 Portsmouth Harbour - Paignton
Although loco hauled services of any description were few and far between on the Portsmouth Direct line, few photos seem to come to light of this interesting working

The classic crime film 'Charade', directed by Stanley Donen in 1963, took its protagonists Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant to many original locations in Paris of the 1960s.
The Théâtre Marigny is located on the Avenue des Champs Élysées in the direct neighbourhood of the garden of the Élysée Palace in the 8th arrondissement. The theatre was the location for the final fight in which Cary Grant rescues Audrey Hepburn from the villain Walter Matthau.

The Panoramapunkt viewing platform – directly on Potsdamer Platz – gives you a view of of many different landmarks. From up here you can see modern architecture and historical highlights of the city.
With the fastest elevator in Europe, you’ll be up on the viewing platform on the 25th floor before you know it. In just 20 seconds, you’re 100 metres above Potsdamer Platz. There are two Disney Store Limited Edition Brave items that were first noticed on the US Disney Store website on May 14, 2012, but were not part of the new arrivals group. In fact, when they were first noticed (by browsing on keyword 'brave') they were both already sold out. By next day, they were already not searchable by keyword (but the pages were still viewable via a direct link or product code). I wonder whether these were actually for sale at some earlier date, or are merely placeholders for a future release.
The items and web links to them are as follows:

Excerpt from Wikipedia:
The Alhambra (The Red One) is a palace and fortress complex located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It was originally constructed as a small fortress in AD 889 on the remains of Roman fortifications, and then largely ignored until its ruins were renovated and rebuilt in the mid-13th century by the Nasrid emir Mohammed ben Al-Ahmar of the Emirate of Granada, who built its current palace and walls with many beautiful, intricate details. It was converted into a royal palace in 1333 by Yusuf I, Sultan of Granada. After the conclusion of the Christian Reconquista in 1492, the site became the Royal Court of Ferdinand and Isabella (where Christopher Columbus received royal endorsement for his expedition), and the palaces were partially altered in the Renaissance style. In 1526 Charles I & V commissioned a new Renaissance palace better befitting the Holy Roman Emperor in the revolutionary Mannerist style influenced by humanist philosophy in direct juxtaposition with the Nasrid Andalusian architecture, but it was ultimately never completed due to Morisco rebellions in Granada.

Confinement jour 35 / Lockdown day 35
Dommage !
Bon confinement à tous et "Take care !"
