Resident Canada Geese

The bird with the yellow alpha-numeric tag on her leg was the first goose we marked back in April of 2008. She was banded less than 500 meters from where I photographed her today, six and a half years later. The goose with the white collar was banded about three kms away in Craig Bay several years later.
Funky crop. Different pose. And yet I kinda like it. I think I like that there was a slight breeze and you can see it in my hair.
Or maybe I'm just weird.
Yeah.
During my month-long trip around Vietnam, I visited many different places and saw many diverse landscapes, such as fantastic white beaches, beautiful karstic mountains, rivers and cities.

The very last place on my trip was Sapa. This is right in the north of Vietnam where many hill-tribes can be found. The landscape was spectacular with gorgeous rolling terraces and rice paddies.

Ian lost his first tooth a couple weeks ago. It fell out just two days after he first noticed it was loose. And of course it happened while I was away in South Carolina.
He already has a second one loose, too, but that one has been holding on for quite some time now.

I made different original layers and put the paper different times trough the printer.
As a result of that new -deep and intens- colors appeared.
