“When I see this photograph, I find myself feeling intruiged, wanting to say that I like this kind of art, remembering when I took, having the reaction that I relate to it, wanting to ask who made this.”

“When I explore this photograph, I think its message for me is you aren't alone in your feelings, it makes me think about everyone who does feel alone, or my response to it is realize that you aren't alone and I think this is probably because people are stuck in a bubble.”

“If I were to title this photo, I would call it I'm insane.”

“If this photo were to be able to teach me a lesson, it would be never give up to feel good about yourself.”

“If I could give this photo as a gift to someone, I would give it to my mom, because she needs to know she's not alone.”

Tree Swallows bickering over a nest box. Having been attacked by these guys numerous times when I used to maintain the nest boxes in the Great Swamp, I can attest to the fact that they have very sharp little beaks! Taken on Pleasant Plains Road in the Great Swamp NWR in New Jersey, USA

The Inspiration to this Set. I love this shot for the difference between him and the background. Not just the blurred background, but even the colours and point of focus.

A preview of the difference some processing makes over the raw shot from the camera.

Removed the pink color cast with a Photo Filter, Curves for contrast and saturation, and a little USM sharpening. I can do this easily and pretty quickly in Photoshop, but still learning how to mass-duplicate the effect on hundreds of shots efficiently in Lightroom.

Wow, what a difference with PixInsight over APP & PS processing!

A 3 panel mosaic stacked in APP but re processed in my newly acquired PixInsight software using Paulyman Astro's YT tutorial on the foraxx palet.

What a difference lighting makes. This is really the first workable shot of this building I've ever taken.

L - R: Lindsay Evans, Lindsay Evans.

OK, so Lins, Lachlan, Nic and I were at Pub Trivia a week or so ago at the North Annandale.

Nic wins us a couple of mini boxes of smarties, one of which has a portrait of Lindsay on the back, a bit like those Missing Children ads you see on milk cartons in the States.

I said,"Lins, this looks like you".

He says, "No it doesn't".

I say, "It does, can you scan it and send it to me...?"

He says, "Mmmmm, Mmmaybe".

So he set a physical challenge, that if I could get his IM and send it to him as proof by 9am the dext day, he would scan this in.

Scarily easy to get his IM, heh...

An old abbey in Bristol, I didn't make a note of the name of the place.

There are six differences between the photos (not including brightness, contrast) the obvious one is the sky, the question is which one is the original image?

I didn't know what to upload last night and I found the flickr group called "Please Donate For Japan Earthquake." The group campaigns and encourages people all over the world to donate to NPOs for the Japanese earthquake relief.

Many people might think Japan does not need any help or contributions as it is the third largest economy in the world. That's not true. The scars left by the recent earthquake and tsunami is so huge and it will take a long time and considerable effort to recover. The death toll keeps rising (3676 confirmed dead and more than 20,000 missing as of 3/16) and the countless disaster victims are still waiting for assistance.

So please take a moment and consider donating to any of the following donations list. Any amount of contribution from you will be much appreciated. Even a dollar makes a difference.

Thank you so much for taking your time and thank you who already donated. I'd like to extend my sincere gratitude to you all.

with lots of love,

Kohei Ueda

I personally recommend Japanese Red Cross via Google as it is guaranteed that your money goes to current Japanese relief efforts (in the link you can choose from Japanese Red Cross Society, UNICEF, and Save the Children.).

If it wasn't obvious enough already, I did not do much reading on Pokemon B & W before it got released.

I decided to restart the game, since I was torn on what pokemon to get into my team and I already went through most of the game so I had no trainers to fight and nothing to do =/.

Ah well, I made my mind up and got my new team ready now, but this time I'm playing as a Female character.

But as for the for interface..everything was pink..and hearts everywhere, why hearts! gah XD

The Pink DS is my sister's and is running Pokemon White with a male character. The Black DSi is running Pokemon Black with a Female Character.
