A very kind and generous friend gave me this gorgeous Jenni Bowlin Tangerine Dream Mini Paper Set and I've been pondering for ages on how to showcase them. These 4 cards are my attempt to show off the papers, so I kept the designs simple.

This is one of my takes on the CPS119 sketch this week. I love the new patterns and colors of Cosmos Cricket Everyafter line. I made the flower by stamping scallop die cuts with a Hero Arts text stamp. Little mist of water, some squishing and you got yourself a flower. I also framed the edges of the die cut mat (I cut it out with my Pazzle)with the same text stamp using a masking technique. ENJOY! Linda aka Oz

I have used the diecuts from the Antique Flowers and Butterflies to cut out some butterflies, glued 3 together and embosset with them on card stock and then stamped the butterflies
Another one of the Nancy/Michelle inspired cards. I thought I'd try some of my other silhouette stamps with this design. I stamped the Bluebell on white card with a Green pigment ink. I then cut out three squares and layered onto black, I used a piece of pp by Kaisercraft (Gypsy Sisters Collection- from the wonderful Paula as part of my prize packet from Die Cut Diva's April Challenge) and cut it slightly smaller than the base card. I then made a mask and stamped Old French writing on the right side, and added the sentiment.

Another combination with this lovely tree stamp from Hero Arts. I think it gives such depth when stamped on patterned paper, it just seems to give shadow etc. in just the right spot!!
(Can somebody tell me if my photos are the right size for this huge black background or should they be bigger? Thanks)

Birds again... just playing with a die-cut and a scrap of PP. The sentiment is Hero Arts - it belongs to the Peace Poinsettia set.

just got my copy of "Tree of Codes" by Foer. Foer took the book "The Street of Crocodiles" by Bruno Schulz and dissected each page in a unique way to create a new story. That means every page is die-cut in a different way! .....seems like it will be a challenging read due to the format

My Creative Sweet business cards arrived yesterday! They're diecut into a 2x2" circle, and the background pattern is actually a spot varnish which changes depending on the light. Really pleased with how they turned out. :D
I spent a couple hours cutting out shapes with my Big Shot this weekend while watching a movie. I tried to use up some of my paper. Now I have tons of die cuts and I still have tons of paper. Blerg.
