My DD was sick all night throwing up so when I served her breakfast (banana & toast) I used a doily. I was sooo tired but, not to tired to discover that the lace doily could be a great stencil for the butterfly that I downloaded from HA's jpeg (for the QuicKutz challenge). I used Ranger's eggplant dauber on top of the doily ( I now recommend gloves) and didn't love the look so then I sprayed it with Range's Color wash stream (blue) so it turned green with my yellow paper. Hero Arts buttons and vintage lace trim. I bought the purple raffia from Michaels (they have it in all different colors. Large green button is from the fabric store.
This original drawing was inspired by a Beistle Halloween diecut pirate wall decoration. I drew this on lineform using the Beistle image as a guide, but the drawing is my own. I hope one day Beistle will release the old diecuts or issue new ones with a classic feel.
This card started life as a pop up card, but I soon decided to reinforce it and make it a stand alone card.
The flowers are die cut and are attached to the "towers" by wire.
Of course there had to be birds somewhere.
This card from Franziska was in my Favourites and Barb challenged us to CASE one of our favourites. So this is my card inspired by Franziska. I took my inspiration from her embossed background and her butterflies. I stamped them onto cream dotty paper and fussy cut then added to a stamped one on white card scrap and die cut with the matching die. I also added the red heart pearl ( Hero Arts) and added some white ribbon.
I downloaded the flower vase shape from the store and managed to make 3 cards from the one die cut.
Firstly I used the die cut attached with pop dots along with the fence to create a simple card. Next I used the negative space to create a heat embossed silhouette, as shown on the lefthand card, and finally the negative image was adhered to a note card and coated with Perfect Pearls. Great value for 99c!

This card was inspired by one I saw in a magazine. It had a lovely big flower on it made with Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Florals. I decided to give the flower a go. I finished it with a Rosie's Studio large brad to finish. The sentiment is from Hero Arts
I used some chalks to colour the flower and then sprayed with Hairspray to set. I used some green ribbon to simulate flowers. PP is a download I had on my computer... but not sure where I got it.
entering in HA challenge for Feb as I used a die cut (flower) and Friendship theme.
Had chance to do some watercolouring and chose this "Cosmos Background" stamp from Simon Says (one of my favourites) Made two cards with the stamped image (always a bonus). Adding these to the SSS Flickr challenge. Blogged here

Empty Windsor and Newton Acrylic paint tube, felt, fabric, purchased embellishment and an old photograph.
Made this on a pizza box cardboard.
I started with cutting a Christmas tree and glued it. Than It became a moose!
In the background the beautiful Northern light who's on my I wanne see bucket list. Still had to do it with this one lol.
Happy Space Vectors were FREE and perfect to make this vinyl birthday card. Had to adjust a few lines as they were too thin to cut nicely though.

From my collection of diecut Victorian Valentines. The little violet shown symbolized modesty and humility during the era, but the story of Cupid and Psyche, rife with lust and sex, seems hardly apt...unless Victorians just wanted to rewrite history to suit their own warped sense of values...
Diecut from Suzz (love them) and seeing the new birdcage in the 2010 catalogue made me want to use the 'old' one!
Decorated a diecut birdcage with punched out leaves and added a piece of red raffia at the top. Leaves were made from unused project and raffia came with a bunch of flowers - so recycling on this card.
I wanted to use some of the designer paper from K&Company that I recently purchased. The reverse side is as pretty as the front. The large labels are made with Nesties; the smaller labels are from the Slice. I distressed around the kraft label with Tattered Rose after stamping it with the Screen Shadow stamp. The sentiment is from Friendship Messages. I stamped the Long Branch for the Heart Winged butterfly to rest on. The main card is a HA notecard.
Three color letterpressed and die cut deer ornament inspired by vintage Christmas cookies. Printed on aged coaster stock. Bakers twine included
