I have just got this new Simon Says Snowflake die and I couldn't wait to use it. A simple card using Glitter card and the Simon Says "Square Stitched" dies. Blogged here
Adding this to the Simon Says Flickr group challenge.
A hybrid inspiration from Tami's shadow ink shade sample and this card by Kristie Larson
I stamped Hero Arts design block stencil once with each shadow ink (pool, sand, apricot), cut the images up in a grid, arranged the tiles to link up, adhered to paper then stitched. The butterfly is die cut (Spellbinders butterflies 2) and handstitched.

I made this card for my friends wedding this summer. The colors match her invitations :)
I used the Heart Winged Butterfly and my nestabilities dies. Love both!!
Thanks for looking.
I have posted the diecut heart at the top of this 5 part valentine but not the entire multi part group of diecuts. They are attached to each other with pink ribbons, some of which have broken with time. I have also seen the same artwork in it reused (as they often did) in other Valentines.
For the 'diecuts' challeng.
Made this one to use 3 kinds of Quickutz dies. The heart and the flourish frame were made like chipboads to use the adhesive back chipboad sheet by Quickutz.
Quickutz die detail:
Ribbon slot (QC-0006-S), Jolly Holiday Gift Set (HGS-08-DIES), Flourish (REV-0024)
Quickutz chipboad sheet
The BG Flourish, the Ornate Bird and the Heart from the clear set Hugs N Heart are heat embossing.
stamp used:
HA SE: Artistic Window / LP128 (wood grainstamp for the heart shape ribbon slot)
HA Design Blocks Grid Pattern / S5216
HA Design Blocks Flourish / S5034
HA Ornate Bird/ E4835

The book pages were put through a diecut machine and embossed. Then I ran chalk ink over the embossed images so they would stand out.

I was digitally filing away my 2010 scan folders and wanted to upload a few early Valentine's treats.
I found these Victorian die-cut scraps at "Curiosities" in Dallas, Texas in June. They are small and battered. These have not been cleaned up or color-boosted.
This little 3 1/2 inch die-cut sticker of a photographer with his view camera was part of a page from a disassembled Victorian scrap book that I bought just for him. Unfortunately the die-cut was so fragile that it came apart in several pieces. Jack patiently fit it back together and glued it to a square of archival board. Thanks Jack!
Although it is hard to handle I think I might scan some of the other scraps on the pages for my chromolithograph set.
Check out this test print for a die cut sticker sheet! Hopefully will have these in the shop soon. Big thanks to the ALL KNOWING Tommy Dunn of Austin Architectural Graphics for making this self promo project possible
Had fun with this card after finding the Kraft in my scrap box. Cut with the Simon Says "Wonky Rectangle" die and the stamped with the "Star Flower "background then embossing in white. The sentiment is also Simon Says. Added the wire, diecut heart and pearls to finish it off. More details on my blog
Using a diecut and patterned papers to create this Thank You card which can be found in my Etsy shop here www.etsy.com/shop/SouvenirdelaFrance
Using some printables and the butterfly stamped on pp for this card with a diecut background.
I used the Classic Fabric stamp for the background.

"These Christmas motifs are self-adhesive, so they are simply removed from the backing paper without water and transferred to gift packages, Christmas cards or other handicrafts."
