And thinking of the past

Remember that you have a friend

As long as life shall last.

Stamped the Asian dolls and while they weren't looking, cut off their heads and quickly reattached them at an angle. (I don't think they even noticed!). Nesties labels, Slice tag that was stamped and embossed in gold. The heart is a QuicKutz die, "Heart" RS-0047. Used CB embossing folders for main cs and for smallest label. Gold liquid pears accents. I seem to be in a red mode!!

Vintage German Christmas die cut. Embossed print sheet. Found at an estate sale in Los Angeles. Scanned on Epson XP-7100 at 600 dpi.

This card is for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 226 (WSC226).

Nite-Glo Ghost from Beistle 1973

Glows in the Dark

Happy Halloween!

When the golden sun is setting

And your mind from care is free

When of others you are thinking

Will you sometimes think of me.

Title: Bladeworks Fencing Poster

This poster for Bladeworks Fencing Club was designed to show that fencing

is a fun way to get fit for anyone—not just nerds or Olympians.

The traditional Spencerian script was hand-lettered by world-renowned typographer Tony DiSpigna

and laser-cut so that it appears the words were cut out of the paper Zorro-style by an extremely skilled swordsman.

TFL!

DCWV 70% recycled paper, brads, Making Memories letter diecut, Heidi Swapp edge distressor

Made this with HA Kraft Notecards (PS507). PP by BoBunny - flirty dots. Machine stitched the PP to a border punched with fiskars threading water punch. Adhered to the card with dimensional dots/foam pads.

Small butterflies cut from Monday's free template from HA. Stamped with the raindrop background stamp in white staz on ink (not very evident in photo!!) - S5101.

Sentiment from CL180 Sparkle Clear: Happy Greetings. Heart in the middle of the sentiment from the CL305 set.

Stamped the sentiment with white staz on ink but to ensure uniformity of colour I used a white gel pen to write over it and to add the "doodle line". Added PP to the envelope too.

Used the nestling labels from quickutz and birds (QK). Stamped hearts and sentiment (both HA) with white ink and embossed with white powder. Flower (HA). Added dots and stitching with white gel pen. Emobossed the background with the quick kutz folder and distressed with white ink.

Vintage diecut birthday invitation with glittery gold background. No manufacturer's logo.

Here's my card for the Hero Arts "diecuts" challenge, for Lisa's "Scribble This!" levels challenge, and for Kristina's "Color Inspiration" challenge. Woohoo, trifecta! LOL ;) The diecuts are a Label 1 Nestie and the QuicKutz "Blossom" grand alpha for the sentiment. The dots on the sentiment are heat embossed and the Hero flower gemstones were colored with an orange Copic marker. I will post the "before & afters" of this card (for Lisa's challenge) in a bit on my photostream.

Sorry about all the shadows... lots of pop dots here. ;) That, and the fact that we are really overcast today... had to use artificial light. :P
