Inspired of Dior! I love everything Dior, and really what girl doesn't?...This is the Dior Valley Blooming Bouquet perfume...pink, classy and O so pretty.
Tried Chamomile tea first, then tried Black Cherry Kool-Aid. The only thing that got dyed was the velcro.
I know some folks out there have dyed them, but I didn't want to use anything like Rit or something and have it hanging around or sacrifice pots for.

Habitat: abandoned pastures with scattered trees; moderately inclined mountain slope, south-east aspect; relatively warm and dry place; calcareous ground, sunny place; exposed to direct rain; average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 7-9 deg C, elevations 600 m (1.950 feet), alpine phytogeographical region.
Substratum: bark of smaller branches of a stand-alone, recently cut down Juglans regia.
Place: Lower Trenta valley, right bank of river Soča; between villages Soča and Trenta; near Trenta 2b cottage, East Julian Alps, Posočje, Slovenia EC.
Comment: Pseudevernia furfuracea is a very common foliose-shrubby lichen in general and also in Trenta valley, particularly on higher elevations. It climbs up to the tree border elevations. It can be found on bark of deciduous trees as well as on conifers and sometimes also on rocks. Pictures show a young, still small specimen in damp state. Hence the thallus is almost white. Grown up specimens are darker - gray or brownish-gray, often densely covered with isidia and dark brown to black underneath. When old they sometimes become of bizarre shapes appearing completely different from these pictures. Apothecia are rare.
The species is very variable. Probably the best trait for determination is its growth. Terminal thallus strap-shaped lobes divide widely divergent and quite strictly dichotomously. All terminal lobes remain in a single plane and they are rather short. When dry the edges of the straps curl strongly inwards, sometimes completely covering the lower, black side of the straps. A very similarly looking habit has another common lichen - Evernia prunastri (L.) Ach.. But, its lobes are usually greenish, often net-veined above and white beneath (also when old).
Lichen was 3 to 4 cm tall growing on a relatively thin branch. 5% KOH reaction on thallus is yellow-green. Only one specimen has been found on this tree. Otherwise about 25 different lichen species have been spotted on it.

Ponce great ceiba (I think is kapok tree in English) has been dying for years after the canalization of the Portugues river. All efforts made only retard the inevitable.
It is very sad how living things died.. It remind us how we are simply cycle the same way as everything else.. Just remember, we won't last very long..

History
The place is well-known for its castle, Schloss Laxenburg, which, beside Schönbrunn, was the most important summer seat of the Habsburg dynasty.
This castle became a Habsburg possession in 1333 and was extended in the 17th century by Lodovico Burnacini. The Blauer Hof (German for: blue court) or Neues Schloss (German for: new castle) was built around 1745 during the reign of empress Maria Theresia and has a Rococo interior.
The church of Laxenburg, which was the first building north of the Alps containing swung facade components (characteristics of the high baroque), was built between 1693 and 1703 by Carlo Antonio Carlone and continued between 1703 and 1724 by Matthias Steinl.
After 1780, the castle garden was rearranged as an English landscape garden. It contains several artificial ponds, and, on an island, the Franzensburg castle, named after emperor Franz I, can be found.
In 1849, the current political municipality was founded. In 1919, the city of Vienna took over the war-damaged castle. Since then, the city of Vienna became the property owner of the park area of Laxenburg.
After the Anschluss of Austria in 1938, the municipality of Laxenburg became part of the city Vienna. In 1954, the place became independent again and was returned to Lower Austria.
The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), a non-governmental research organization, has been located in Laxenburg since 1975.
Da ich meine neue Eos 7D ausprobieren wollte, kam mir dieser verlassene Ort sehr gelegen und ich schoss gleich mal ein Panorama in HDR.
Leider stimmten noch nicht alle Einstellungen, sodass es mit verschiedenen Blenden geschossen wurde, aber naja man lernt ja auch dazu ;-)

I was at the Lowestoft Air Show yesterday, it was the first one I've been to since the infamous Harrier crash. Sadly, I got stuck in traffic and missed being on the beach when the Red Arrows were flying over. Luckily, they flew over Pakefield just as I got my camera out, so I was able to get a shot.
With the colouring, (intentional) noise and textures, this reminds me of the footage you saw of planes during WW2, and I kinda picture a Zepplin floating around just out of shot. XD
This poor little bee was dying, he made me want to cry.... so I decided to ruin his last moments of life and take a million photos of him...
