This actually happened as a result of me photographing different parts of my Mac and getting creative with contrast. The black hole is actually one of the little pads that keep the computer from skidding about.
This is a large chalkboard on the side of the street. Anyone can write what they want to do before they die on it.

Contrary to hunters belief this guy was not extremely smart and cautious. It was warm sunny morning today and it was very windy all night. He did not react as I approached, I even was able to pet his neck, then he have uncovered his head for a minute and hid it again, not opening the eyes. It looks like that he was staying like this whole night and probably all previous day as there were no fresh tracks coming to this place. I left him a piece of bread and went away. On my way back 3 hours later he was still there but awaken, the bread was untouched. He very slowly stepped away when I approached him.
This strange behavior could be explained by very windy night, they could not sleep their usual way - in the trees. Birds have a unique physical feature which allows them to sleep in trees without falling out. When they squat down on their legs, their toes respond by closing up tightly, locking around the branch which allows them to sit in trees asleep at night without fear of falling off their perch.

Das Museum Petersberg ist ein regionalgeschichtliches Museum in Petersberg (Saalekreis) in Sachsen-Anhalt. Es befindet sich in einem Vierseitenhof, der königlich-preußisches Forsthaus war. Die Gebäude wurden 1752 erbaut und sind heute weitestgehend rekonstruiert. Sie stehen unter Denkmalschutz.

Die Kleine Riesin spazierte durch die Friedrichstraße und die Charlottenstraße bis hin zum Gendarmenmarkt, wo schon ihr Weltmeere-Boot auf sie wartete. Des Laufens müde, „schippert“ die Kleine nun gerade auf ihrem Boot zurück zum Lustgarten und wird dort – nach einer kleinen Tanzeinlage gegen 18 Uhr – die Nacht verbringen.

Probably unearthed in the early 1620s in Rome, this statue shows a young Gallic warrior suffering from a sword wound to his abdomen. His unkempt hair and neck torc readily identify him as a Gaul, or at least “non-Greek,” and the shaved face, save the moustache, suggest he was of a higher class. Often referred to as a gladiator, following an erroneous interpretation of the 17th century, the sculpture has enjoyed a high reputation throughout its modern history, even inspiring a series of stanzas in Byron’s highly influential poem, Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage (1812-18). The original bronze likely dates to the late 3rd century BC and has been identified as one of a group erected at Pergamon (in modern-day Turkey) in commemoration of a Greek victory over the Gauls.
Wenn Nordish so schöne Skibilder flickrt, dann darf ich da nicht nachstehen. Bei uns war es übrigens warm, sonnig und leider auch extrem überfüllt. Aber wenn der Winter schon mal kommt, dann muss man ihn auch entsprechend nutzen :-)
Die Felsnadel rechts im Bild ist übrigens der Kofel den ich hier bestiegen habe.
