Naturselbstdruck auf Cyanotypie
Runzelblättriger Schneeball (Viburnum rhytidophyllum)
Dieses Bild ist vom analogen Bild gescannt.
Nachdem die Zyanotypie fertig war, verwendete ich das Blatt als Druckplatte. Ich nahm zwei Farben. Gelb und Rotbraun (Acryl)
Die Zyanotypie stellte ich her, indem ich das Papier zunächst mit Zitrat bestrich. Es wurde gelblich. Dann belichtete ich, die belichteten Stellen wurden hellbraun. Ich entwickelte es mit einer leicht sauren Lösung aus rotem Blutlaugensalz. Das verhindert das Verbleichen, wenn im Papier Puffer verwendet werden und verbessert zugleich die Farbkurve.
Wie ich schon schrieb, war der Naturselbstdruck die erste Methode, Pflanzen lebensecht abzubilden.
Ich machte das aber nicht, sondern ich verwendete Farben, die eher künstlerisch sind.

After the cyanotype was finished, I used the sheet as a printing plate. I used two colours. Yellow and red-brown (acrylic)
I made the cyanotype by first coating the paper with citrate. It became yellowish. Then I exposed it, the exposed areas became light brown. I developed it with a slightly acidic solution of red blood lye salt. This prevents fading when buffers are used in the paper and also improves the colour curve.
As I wrote earlier, nature printing was the first method of reproducing plants realistically.
But I didn't do that, I used colours that were more artistic.

Zugegeben, die Idee ist geklaut und an der Hütte haben sich schon Andere in ihren Künsten bewiesen. Letztendlich kann man dem Motiv am Fuße des Kalkbergs nicht wiederstehen.
