This priest was conducting a small ceremony on the side and his concentration was amazing in spite of a large number of people talking everywhere.

Praying sculpture. Seen in the "lourdesgrotte" in bisamberg, near vienna, lower austria, austria. Made by three exposures, merged with photomatix to an HDR. Date 01|03|07.

This is next to a cave with a special shrine to Shiva. This Linga is at the base of what's normally a waterfall, but being just before monsoon there is very little water. I like the way the narrowing steps give the impression of reverse perspective, like an icon.

...Yes I know the top is missing...that´s because the original is a slide of which a picture is being made. Then I made a scan from that picture. In this proces you loose more and more of your original picture. The top is perfect on the slide... Someday I'm going to buy myzelf a Nikon Coolscan, I'm saving for it....:-)
