I hope I speak for lots of happy users of 12.04 when I say Thank You! to Canonical :-)

I got distracted and started to add blix instead of the developer for a half second before washing it out in a total panic.

Used it right after I made it but it under developed. Added a few more minutes but after a few days I had over developed film. Right in the middle time I should be good.

Ilford MG RC paper negative, well expired. Shot with Graflex pre-Anniversary 3x4 with Leitmeyr 18cm f/4.5 Satyr doppel anastigmat lens (fairly rare haven't seen much reference to the 180,, / 18cm lens). Shot at f/11 for 1 second. ISO 1.

Shot ISO for reversal development. Initial normal 1st developer - used Kodak D-158 under red light for development by inspection. Stop bath, rinse and on to citric acid bath (2 tsp / 300 ml) and then to a 19% hydrogen peroxide bath. This is a continuous 2 bath process to get full fogging. Then reexposed in room light for 2 or 3 minutes. I then brush developed the second developer (D-158 again) by inspection, and then rinsed and fixed.

Experimental so this is not anything important or impressive, just to determine if this process works better than just negative brush development.

Use FS for THIS application but you can dilute as you like to slow the brush process.

Testing my developer against Coffer's positive developer. Trying to determine the cause of my unevenness. Results here were rather inconclusive but it seemed to me my own mix with extra alcohol was too streaky. Plus the developer was harder to wash off.

I ended up modifying Coffer's formula by cutting the Ferrous Sulfate by 20% and increasing the alcohol in his by 20%. Perfect plates the next day.

Experimenting further to see what I can use for developer when using an inkjet printer with developer on photo paper. This will also finally to print a photo on photo paper without a dark room.

Here I brush on Foma 312 paper the retro320 developer. It gives enough time to make some creative decisions. Toning with Ferro Blend (red) and FAC plus Kferro (Blue)

Man, I think we have a real winner here with TMax developer, the contrast is rich, with the maintaining of tone, super sharp, and fine grain!

So these are the options? What if I am a professional developer?

Expired Fuji Velvia ISO 50 slide film, cross-processed in the Tetenal C41 kit. I usually get a much greener hue with this film/developer combination, so the yellow is a bit of a surprise, it maybe that the chemicals are getting exhausted.

Found in the Mission District, San Francisco, CA.

I tend to avoid photography on blue-sky days, so to shake myself out of that I went looking for strongly backlit subjects on just such a day. A tree leaning over the Eno River.

Help - is this developer re-usable?

The instructions say you make a litre of stock.

This stock is then diluted in 3 parts water to develop film.

But the part i don't understand is the instructions say the litre of stock can develop no more than 3 films.

Does this mean I can re-use the stock three times?

I'm really lost on this one.

Developers at the facebook f8 hackathon. Bart and I were going to write an app, but we were a bit tired and decided to hang out with the Red Bull peeps.
