This store is one of the few supercenter stores closed in the January 2016 Walmart store closing wave. There were 269 stores closed (154 in the U.S.). Of those closings only 12 were Supercenter stores. The closing wave included mostly smaller stores like Neighborhood market and Walmart Express.
This is an approximately 192,000 square foot Walmart store that opened on August 26, 2009. This is the Hartland, Michigan location I'll post the pictures of the closed Bedford, Ohio Supercenter as well within a couple weeks after finishing the Hartland pictures. These and many of my Bedford pictures are currently floating around elsewhere online.
I believe the big box retailers were overly ambitious when they built up at the intesection of U.S. 23 and Highland Road. Due to the recession, a lot of developement due to happen around this intesection never happened. Target doesn't seem to be doing that well either here. Meijer is the only store that looked like it was doing well in the area. Then again, the Meijer locations around here seem distributed weirdly. There are three Meijer stores on Highland Road within 20 miles of each other yet Fenton (a decent sized city to the north) does not have a Meijer. Both Walmart and Target have stores in Fenton though, so I wonder how many people come from Fenton to go to the Hartland Meijer. I also imagine the grocery section at this Walmart contributed to its closure. When I was at this store, I noticed a bunch of grocery items, on the shelves, that were months expired. I doubt Meijer lets that happen as much. Since Meijer is a Michigan based company, they probably have a more loyal following in the area to begin with.

China Developing
China's urban development is concomitant with its economic development and integration with the dynamics of globalization. The gaps are widening between cities and countryside to reach limits never crossed. The development of rural areas, where more than 600 million Chinese still live, is a gigantic task for the Communist Party. That's why the government is building territory development programs. And comfortable houses rather than wooden houses. Young people are convinced.
These laudable goals want to make the Chinese people a "rich people" and the country the world's largest economic power, while in the countryside the population is very poor. People still live there as in the Middle Ages. Xi Jinping, the Chinese PC President has imposed a new motto: the Chinese Dream as the American Dream. It is about working for the great renaissance of the Chinese nation

I manage an apartment complex that comes under Rural Developement which means the people are low and very low income. Although it is a family complex, many of the tenants are elderly. One of the oldest came in today with her Christmas present to me. You can see the mug is worn inside. It is one of her mugs. A muffin wrapped in foil, a bit of instant coffee in the jar and a banana. And flowers in a glass vase she painted herself.
From her kitchen, she brought me a meal and flowers. How special.

Porsche 968 Sport (1992-94) Engine 2990cc S4
Registration Number K 300 WAX (Cardiff)

The Porsche 968 evolved from the 944. and could easily have been called a 944 S3. In developement for a revised 944 S2 80% of the 944's mechanical components were either significantly modified or completely replaced by the engineers, leaving so little of the outgoing S2 behind that Porsche management chose to introduce the variant as a new model, entitling it 968. The 968 was powered by an updated version of the 944's straight-4 engine, now displacing 3.0 L changes to the power train also introded the then new VarioCam variable valve timing system, newly optimized induction and exhaust systems, a dual-mass flywheel, and updated engine management electronics among other more minor revisions.
The 968's styling was an evolution on that of the outgoing 944 which in turn was an evolution of the 924 ike the 944, the 968 was sold as both a coupe and a convertible.
The 968CS (Club Sport) was designed as a road and track day car, the car was lightened with a reduction to the sound deadening material, and loss of electrical windows. Upgraded stereo systems, air conditioning, and sunroof were optional. Recaro racing seats replaced the power-operated leather buckets, a revised suspension reduced ride height, the car rode on 17 inch wheels that were wider than the originals, rather than the 16 inch on the standard 968. The 4-spoke airbag steering wheel was replaced with a thicker-rimmed 3-spoke steering wheel with no airbag, heated washer jets were replaced with non heated, vanity covers in the engine bay were deleted, as was the rear wiper. The Club Sport has no rear seats, unlike the 2+2 Coupe.
A UK-only version called "968 Sport", was offered in 1994 and 1995, and was essentially a Club Sport model (and was produced on the same production line with similar chassis numbers) with power windows, electric release boot, central locking, cloth comfort seats (different from both the standard and the Club Sport). With the added electrics the larger wiring loom was used. The Sport Variant also got back the two rear seats, again in the cloth material specific to the Sport. At £29,975, the 968 Sport was priced £5,500 lower than the standard 968, but had most of the latter's desirable "luxuries" and consequently outsold it by a large margin (306 of the 968 Sport models compared to 40 standard 968 coupés)

Sharing the same under pan and suspension with the earlies Granada and the square cut appearance of the Mk.IV Cortina. It was a developement of the earlier car, the main differances being he "Cologne" V6 engine in 2.0 L, 2.3 L and 2.8 L forms replacing the older Essex unit (which had never been offered in the Cologne built Granadas), and the introduction of features such as air conditioning and, for the top-price 2.8-litre versions, fuel-injection. UK market Granada IIs were imported from Germany
A special Ford of Britain only marketing pack edition of the Ghia X model was later introduced as the "Ford Granada Ghia X Executive" which standardised luxury appointments such as the high grade Connolly Leather interior that had previously been an optional fitment. Further refinements such an electric sunroof, electric opening boot on saloons, electric seat adjustment, heated seats, trip computer and air conditioning set the Granada Ghia X above most other cost comparable executive cars available in the UK in the early eighties
The range had a facelift in September 1981 with larger wrap-round bumpers, a three-bar body coloured grille, revised dashboard, restyled taillights, and redesigned seats which improved driver and passenger comfort.
This car is very close to its Australian cousin the Ford Falcon XD Utility, The Falcon XD was released in March 1979 replacing the XC with a new smaller body with no reduction. It was strongly influenced by and slightly larger than the European Ford Granada Mk.II. Although the two cars can look almost identical there is very little parts commonality. The Falcon is both longer and wider than the Granada and features live axle rear suspension against the Granadas fully independant set up, one of its more unusual features being a plastic fuel tank and the powertrains are different with the entry level Falcon powered by a 3.3ltr straight six, the other engine options being a 4.1 litre straight six, and V8s of 4.9 and 5.8ltrs. A total of 197,293 XD Falcons before the model was replaced by the XE Falcon in 1982 (earlier than the car pictured) were built, including the Utility
