Anglia Square, Norwich.
Sixties brutalist shopping centre, due for demolition and re-developement. Taken a couple of weeks before it closed. Only a few shops remain open, the stragglers refusing to give up their place. I wanted to convey the darkness of a once thriving area in its last throws of life.
This is one of the entrances from Magdalen Street into the centre now dark, dismal and uninviting.

The EV3project was announced at the 2015 Goodwood Festival and unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motorshow. The car was powered by a rear mounted electric motor delivering 101bhp and weighed 25lbs more than the conventionally powered three wheeler, with an overall weight of 1,212lbs (550 kg). The batteries had a range of 150 miles and performance was said to match the conventional car with a 0-62 mph sprint time of 6 seconds but with the top speed electronically limited to 80mph (129 kmph). It was originally schedualed for a 2018 production date, but was delayed and finally after four years of developement was shelved in late 2018

China Developing
China's urban development is concomitant with its economic development and integration with the dynamics of globalization. The gaps are widening between cities and countryside to reach limits never crossed. The development of rural areas, where more than 600 million Chinese still live, is a gigantic task for the Communist Party. That's why the government is building territory development programs. And comfortable houses rather than wooden houses. Young people are convinced.
These laudable goals want to make the Chinese people a "rich people" and the country the world's largest economic power, while in the countryside the population is very poor. People still live there as in the Middle Ages. Xi Jinping, the Chinese PC President has imposed a new motto: the Chinese Dream as the American Dream. It is about working for the great renaissance of the Chinese nation.

( Would also like to thank the fine city of Rockport for the $50. parking ticket. They provide no parking or access to see the Twin Lighthouses, but one secluded lot in the dunes away from the houses for only the rich residents. This beautiful outcrop of rocks could be a park for all. Someone apparently patrols this spot every 20 minutes to hand out constant tickets. Hope they save that money for public developement. Doubt it.)

The Common Yellowthroat is a small species of warbler found throughout North America, from southern Canada to central Mexico. Southern populations are typically year-round residents, though northern populations will migrate to warmer climates in Mexico, southern Central America and the West Indies. This species prefers to breed in marshes and wetlands with dense, low vegetation. The Common Yellowthroat is less common in drier areas, and suffers from loss of its natural habitat. Its diet consists mostly of insects, which are either caught during flight or on the ground.
Photo was was taken in the Bolsa Chica upper wetlands area which is now under developement by Shea Homes. Sadly the day after this picture the entire 11 acres of wetlands was plowed under, and this wonderful natural habitat destroyed.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Thank you for one year of beautiful art, crazy people, encouraging conversations and, of couse, the developement of SI’s Procreate!
All the best for you in future and for another year of great art and people!

Bristol 401 (1948-53) Engine 1971cc S6 OHV Production 650 (all 401s)
Registration Number UMC 315 (Middlesex)
Bristol SET
www.flickr.com/photos/45676495@N05/sets/72157623759876288...
The 401 was the second model produced by Bristol, after the 400. It may have been the first to use wind tunnel testing in its design, resulting in a remarkably low 0.392 drag coefficient. The car was light, with the use of an all alumium bodyshell, it was a larger car than the 400 and seats 5 passengers in comfort, and its body was built using a 'Superleggera' matrix of steel tubes, mounted on the same open 'A' frame steel chassis, but with different outriggers at the rear to accommodate a lower mounted fuel tank.
The first series is identified by a distinctive ridge along the lower edge of the body., a recognition point of the 401 is that the front grille inserts were painted black, whilst the surrounds were chromed.
A few of the cars were independantly bodied, most noteably the 1947-48 Farina Drophead, the Beutler saloon and this car the Touring Superleggra Saloon
Touring Super Leggera Saloon
A few early chassis were sent to Touring of Milan as developement excercises for the 401
As with other special design excersises under evaluation, the Touring Saloons were built on early chassis. The styling is simular to other work from the Milan based styling house, particulary the Alfa Romeo 6C-2500. the design was both stylish, lightweight and produced a fast car , but was also considered a little noisy. Construction favoured the patented Superleggra (super light) method used by Touring, involving building a body support matrix of wire-tied tubular or lightweight metal rod frames on which to mount the body panels. In the detail, however, it did not meet the standards of construction set by the Bristol Aeroplane Company. However the benefits of the lightweight construction method was not dismissed by the Bristol evaluators and the Touring Superleggra method was refined to a more sophisticated though more expensive level, by use of cruciform joints rather than the crossover of wire tied metal rods. thus forming a stronger support matrix, on to which the body shaped skin panels could be jig mounted and then and then welded together. Another Bristol modification was to cover the matrix with sound muffling materials, prior to fitting the outer panels. Further insuulation with the likes of Wilton carpets and Bristols wind cheating body shape, made the Touring Superleggra the chosen developement of the 401. The car was debuted at the 1949 Geneva Motorshow

The Mk.VIII was a developement of the Mk.VIIM, sharing the same 10 foot wheelbase and very simular looks However, the interior fittings were more luxurious than those of the Mark VII. Distinguishing visually between the models is facilitated by changes to the front grille, the driving or fog lamps being moved from the front panel to the horizontal panel between bumper & front panel, larger rear lamps and most obviously a curved chrome trim strip below the waistline which allowed the factory to offer a variety of two-tone paint schemes. In addition the new car had rear spats that were cut back to display more of the rear wheels and featured a one-piece slightly curved windscreen, where the Mark VII had incorporated a two-piece front screen of flat glass.
Mechanically the Mark VIII inherited from its predecessor the 3442 cc straight-six engine which it shared with the Jaguar XK140 with a modified cylinder head. This B type head used larger valves giving an extra 30bhp. with the original intake port diameters allowed faster gas flow at low and medium speeds to promote better low and medium range torque. with a claimed top speed of 106mph. . Transmission options included overdrive or a Borg Warner three-speed automatic box.

I've completed my first light painting tool past weekend. And of course tried it at our home kitten :)
The device is still far from the end of developement. It is first working version based on cheap LED flashlight. It had a few modes so it is possible to use only two, only six and all diods. It also can blink but the frequency is too low for my needs.
Next stage is to go outdoor. But to my pity the weather is too bad. Now I'm waiting for sunny days 8)
