Last time I'd access to a darkroom was when I worked at the hospital a very long time ago.
I chose this subject for the "voice" assignment because I'm inspired by the blue light of the evening... and candlelight... and mood.
This was viewed from San Jose, CA along U.S. 101 freeway. This was at the "back side" of the cold front, which ushered some instability in the atmosphere, causing spotty showers and even a few storm cells to pop up during the afternoon hours. This one in particular developed south of us. It has a wispy anvil, indicating it was one of those "winter-type" thunderheads with the anvil purely composed of ice crystals. It was cold this day, with temps only reaching up to around the upper 50s at the most. Breezy, southwesterly winds were also present as you can see with the palm trees.
