this is an abstract of the extend mono print typography work. as I used the same zinc plate from previous mono print to create this extend piece, turned over the letters and rearranged over the plate and put it through the press again to create this over lay effect. personally I like this abstract as a images by its self and forms a really nice typography piece.
Developing Mental Health and Psychosocial Services (MHPSS) for IDPs
Baghdad, 18 August 2016 - The ongoing crisis in Iraq has led to millions of internally displaced persons (IDPs). Their needs are wide-ranging and include basic shelter, security, water, food and health care. The prevalence and relapse rates of mental, neurological and substance use (MNS) disorders increase in complex emergencies.
WHO conducted a meeting on August 18th at Al Rasheed hotel, chaired by Regional Director of WHO, Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office Dr Ala Alwan, in the presence of the deans and heads of departments psychiatry of medical schools in Baghdad and surrounding provinces, in addition to key official of the Ministry of Health/Mental health directors to discuss their support to the health sector response in general and MHPSS response in particular, including the role of Medical schools in supporting the MHPSS.
The meeting prioritized needs and resources available to respond to mental health’s challenging environment and strengthen integration between the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of High Education, stakeholders and partners to achieve the intended goals in providing best quality mental health services to IDPs and vulnerable groups.

The practices we'll be doing help us develop trust in our awakened heart, our bodhichitta. If we could finally grasp how rich we are, our sense of heavy burden would diminish, and our sense of curiosity would increase.
Bodhichitta has three qualities: (1) it is soft and gentle, which is compassion; (2) at the same time, it is clear and sharp, which is called prajna; and (3) it is open. This last quality of bodhichitta is called shunyata and is also known as emptiness. Emptiness sounds cold. However, bodhichitta isn't cold at all, because there's a heart quality---the warmth of compassion---that pervades the space and the clarity. Compassion and openness and clarity are all one thing, and this one thing is called bodhichitta.
Bodhichitta is our heart---our wounded, softened heart. Now, if you look for that soft heart that we guard so carefully---if you decide that you're going to do a scientific exploration under the microscope and try to find that heart---you won't find it. You can look, but all you'll find is some kind of tenderness. There isn't anything that you can cut out and put under the microscope. There isn't anything that you can dissect or grasp. The more you look, the more you find just a feeling of tenderness tinged with some kind of sadness.
This sadness is not about somebody mistreating us. This is inherent sadness, unconditioned sadness. It has part of our birthright, a family heirloom. It's been called the genuine heart of sadness.
Sometimes we emphasize the compassionate aspect of our genuine heart, and this is called the relative part of bodhichitta. Sometimes we emphasize the open, unfindable aspect of our heart, and this is called the absolute, this genuine heart that is just waiting to be discovered.

The Tripartite class is a class of minehunters developed from an agreement between the navies of Belgium, France and the Netherlands. A total of 35 ships were constructed for the three navies. The class was constructed in the 1980s–1990s in all three countries, using a mix of minehunting, electrical and propulsion systems from the three member nations. In France, where they are known as the Éridan class they are primarily used as minehunters.
FS Cassiopée was laid down 26 March 1979, launched 26 September 1981 and commissioned 5 May 1984. She was decommissioned in 2022.
In France the class is known as the Éridan class. Each hull was created from fibreglass, moulded in a steel shell. The hulls were 51.6 metres (169 ft 3 in) long overall with a beam of 8.9 metres (29 ft 2 in) and a draught of 3.8 metres (12 ft 6 in). The ships had a standard displacement of 571 tonnes (562 long tons) and 605 t (595 long tons) at full load. This later increased to 625 t (615 long tons) at full load. A 5.1 tonnes (5 long tons) container can be stored aboard the ships for additional supply room. The minehunters had an initial complement of 55, this was later reduced to 49.
The Éridan-class minehunters have two independent propulsion systems. In normal operations the minehunters are powered by a 1,400-kilowatt (1,900 bhp) Brons-Werkspoor (later Wärtsilä) A-RUB 215V-12 diesel engine turning one shaft with a LIPS controllable pitch propeller. Using the conventional system, the minehunters have a maximum speed of 15 knots (28 km/h; 17 mph) and a range of 3,000 nautical miles (5,600 km; 3,500 mi) at 12 knots (22 km/h; 14 mph). For use when minehunting the vessels have two 180 kW (240 hp) ACEC active rudders and a bow thruster. These are energised by three Astazou IVB gas turbine alternators rated at 150 kW. A fourth diesel-driven alternator rated at 160 kW supplies power during normal operations. Both systems can be operated from the bridge or from a soundproof control centre above the main deck. The maximum speed using the minehunting propulsion system that can be achieved is 7 knots (13 km/h; 8.1 mph).
The minehunters were equipped with DUBM 21B sonar that could detect and classify ground and moored mines to a range of 80 metres (260 ft). The sonar was retracted during normal operations. The vessel was also equipped with Racal Decca 1229 radar. The vessels carried two ECA PAP 104 remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs). In 2001, the minesweepers underwent modernisation and the sonar was replaced with the TUS 2022 Mk III type, the radar with the Bridgemaster E250 type and a TSM 2061 combat data system and a Bofors Double Eagle Mk2 ROV were fitted.
The Éridan class is armed with one 20 mm modèle F2 gun capable of firing 720 rounds per minute to a range of 2 kilometres (1.2 mi). The minehunters also mount one 12.7 mm (0.5 in) machine gun and two 7.62 mm (0.30 in) machine guns. The French vessels have limited minesweeping ability and were initially only fitted with mechanical sweep gear. In 1985, the Éridan class received AP4 acoustic sweep gear.
The initial order of ten was constructed for the French Navy in the 1980s by the Arsenal de Lorient. After the sale of Sagittaire to Pakistan in 1992, a replacement hull bearing the same name and hull number was constructed. Three Belgian versions of the class were acquired between March and August 1997.
I have given the whole model more of a defined shape, given him clothing and improved the proportion.The model still looks quite blocky but the texture should help a little with this. Next step is to texture the model.
This is one of my first self-developed photos. I burned a roll this morning so I'd have something to play with. Not bad for a first attempt.
