I can now develop my own B&W film.
I realized partway through that I wasn't doing my agitation completely right..... but it seems to be OK.
I decided to try using Arista EDU Ultra (which is really Fomapan) because it was really cheap and I wouldn't feel bad about screwups... And I developed it in Rodinal 1+50.
Very exciting! I can't wait to get it on the scanner! :)

Coastal China is very quickly modernizing itself. Yangshou is no exception. The billboard reads "Will you open a store on West Street?" (West Street is the traditional strip of "downtown" Yangshou, a strip that's littered with small restaurants, shops, and guesthouses)
This was taken from the first film I've ever developed myself. I'm quite pleased with the results following minimal contrast/sharpness boost in Lightroom.

The hanging baskets in the garden are coming along nicely...as always I expect their timing will be perfect so that they are in full bloom whilst we are on holiday ;-)
