This is my second CHS 100.
After the first one, I learned not to ignore the "DONT OVEREXPOSE" in the package ... The grain on bright pictures is awesome ...
So this is my 2nd series, I tried to do it a bit underexposed.

Gerald D. Hines developed more than 907 projects around the world including more than 100 buildings over 25 stories. An avid outdoorsman, Hines was known for leading climbing expeditions, backcountry ski trips and cycling trips around the world. He was a passionate skier and developed the Aspen Highlands with co-owner Aspen Ski Company.
Hines acquired the ski area from founder Whipple Jones at the beginning of the 1993-94 season. "Whip" Jones was a ski industry pioneer and the original operator for 35 years, of the Aspen Highlands ski area. Hines arranged a merger with Skico, and then went on to demolish the aging and funky base village and developed a modern mix of timeshares, luxury homes and affordable housing along with commercial uses.
Completed in 2001, the new Aspen Highlands Village mixed-use development included 36,000 square feet of retail space, 31 residential lots, 32 townhomes, 73 lodge condominiums branded as the Ritz Carleton Resdence Club, a pedestrian mall, and 12,000 square feet of skier facilities in a village setting at one of North America's premier ski mountains. Aspen Highlands Village was master planned by the architectural firm of Robert A.M. Stern Architects LLP.
The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands is a rustic mountain lodge in the style that defines the Ritz-Carlton tradition. It is not a traditional hotel rather a Ritz Carlton Residence Club which offers units that were sold as timeshare units which entitled owners to four weeks of use per year - a 1/12 fractional. In 2020 the going re-sell rate for a 2-bedroom 4 week fractional/timeshare was about $150,000 not including the annual maintenance and association fees. The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands sits at the foot of a 12,500 ft. mountain with stunning views and surrounded by intermedium and advanced ski terrains including the legendary "Highland Bowl." Its located 5 minutes from the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport and 4 hours from Denver.
Ritz-Carlton timeshare owners sued the Aspen Highlands Condominium Association and Marriott in 2016 claiming the affiliation with Marriott Vacations Worldwide has resulted in a dilution of the Ritz-Carlton brand and a loss of up to 80% on the value of their timeshares. Some of the timeshares were acquired for more than $400,000. Timeshare owners of the The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek and The Ritz-Carlton Club Jupiter, Florida, cut ties with the Ritz-Carlton in 2013 and 2014, respectively, because of its affiliation with Marriott. The owners at Aspen Highlands weren’t given that option, the suit says. An agreement was reached in 2019 providing the timeshare owners with a $2.6 million payment - paid by the condo association's insurance policy.
In 2007, Hines Properties sold their commercial component of Aspen Highlands Village to Eastwood Properties.

Students and young professionals share the results of their DEVELOP Project, Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the Mary W. Jackson NASA Headquarters building in Washington. Every summer early career researchers from NASA’s DEVELOP National Program come to NASA Headquarters and present their research projects. DEVELOP is a training and development program where early career researchers work on Earth science projects, mentored by science advisors from NASA and partner agencies, and provide research results to local communities. The project is developed using various pre-set text-to-image models, processing text prompt inputs. On the borderline between sensitive content and an easy slip into topics of violence, this project visualizes the depths of the subconscious of these models, excavating the influences of media and online information exchange. The quantified traces of reality and collective histories allow algorithms to generate content that recycles the past - building the spine of quasi-historical narratives - often obfuscated with prejudice and misinformation, along with the author’s personal bias. Generated outputs are presented inside a hypertext object – a tent that the audience can enter, as it were.
This exhibition is part of the category "Interface Cultures".

HafenCity Hamburg
HafenCity is being developed from west to east and from north to south – 62 projects are completed in 2017 and another 70 are under construction or in the planning stage; deals through sale of land or exclusive options have been closed on around 1.65 million sqm GFA. In the meantime, HafenCity has established its popularity as a place to live and work. Nowadays more than 1,800 residential units are completed approx. 12,000 people work in HafenCity as a whole, employed by more than 730 companies
HafenCity is among the most outstanding urban development projects on the waterfront anywhere. Based on a sophisticated concept, it is expanding the area of Hamburg City by 40 percent. It also has spin-off effects for the existing city centre, the whole of the Hanseatic city state with its 1.8 million inhabitants and its surrounding metropolitan region with a population of some five million. Hamburg’s identity as a maritime port city will be underscored in the process and HafenCity itself serve as a blueprint for the development of the European city of the 21st century. It is already regarded as a model for major international urban development projects, although its development timescale continues through to 2025/30.
In 2009, Am Sandtorkai/Dalmannkai led the way as the first completed neighbourhood in HafenCity’s development. The beginning of 2017 saw the opening of Hamburg’s outstanding and internationally applauded new Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, which sits atop the historic Kaispeicher A warehouse building. The new Hamburg landmark accommodates two concert auditoria, a five-star hotel and around 45 apartments. Close by, completion of the second large neighbourhood, Am Sandtorpark/Grasbrook, popular with many young families, followed at the beginning of 2011. The first primary school with kindergarten opened here in 2009, followed in 2013 by the popular Grasbrook park – primary school children were also involved in its design. Meanwhile, on Strandkai to the south, the first buildings completed there in 2009, Unilever headquarters and the Marco Polo Tower, an ensemble of office building and residential multi-storey, won multiple awards. At the same time, the first open spaces directly adjoining the River Elbe were opened up.
From September 15th to 19th the second of the four JCOM Masterclasses, educational programmes aimed at an international audience and held by international experts takes place. For the 20 selected participants this interactive course represents a unique opportunity to discuss the state-of-the-art of science exhibition development with particular focus on the possible different design approaches, helping participants to reflect on the relationship between the different media, contents and visitors' experience.

I developed this film using QWD ECN-2 chemistry. It's a long story about a gift of 4 Silbersalz rolls that should have included developing and scanning back in Stuttgart. Instead, the film took a round trip from New York to Frankfurt, getting stuck in German customs for months with indifferent support from Silbersalz. So upon their return to me, I developed and scanned them myself. QWD makes a great product for home development of Vision3.

Johnson Cutplate
Developing Tank
for
glass plates and cut film
Bakelite
It will take four plates or cut film sheets at a time
it will fit 5x4in and most sizes below.
You change the plate or film size by moving the internal holders up and down.
You change from glass plate to cut film by reversing the holders
To be honest inserting cut film is very fiddly and I think this is more useful as a tank for glass plates
Includes a calculator for working out the developing times for four (defunct) developers.
You either need it or you dont
