Una casa non deve mai essere su una collina o su qualsiasi altra cosa. Deve essere della collina, appartenerle, in modo tale che collina e casa possano vivere insieme, ciascuna delle due più felice per merito dell'altra.
I lavori lungo la Milano Genova ed il nodo genovese hanno scatenato una serie di deviazioni che ha coinvolto merci, lunga percorrenza e treni regionali.
Partendo proprio da loro, i regionali veloci sono stati deviati lungo la linea Milano Porta Genova-Mortara e proseguono via Valenza-Alessandria-Novi Ligure fino ad Arquata Scrivia.
Senza dubbio il tratto di maggiore interesse è quello della cintura sud milanese fra Milano Rogoredo (capolinea) e Milano S.Cristofoto e la linea a semplice binario da Albairate-Vermezzo a Mortara.
Proprio qui ho scattato a diversi convogli ed in particolare trovo significativo il passaggio in primo binario (solitamente inutilizzato) a Parona Lomellina quando un RV Milano Rogoredo-Albenga ha incrociato un regionale Mortara-Milano Porta Genova.
Ad impreziosire la foto un contesto molto vintage e la composizione, con la E464.561 e una muta di carrozze a media distanza, anche queste destinate a sparire a breve scadenza.

The Dev Deepavali (Festival of Lights of the Gods) is the festival of Kartik Poornima celebrated in Varanasi. It falls on the full moon of the Hindu month of Kartika (November - December) and takes place fifteen days after Diwali. The steps of all the ghats on the riverfront of the Ganges River, from Ravidas Ghat at the southern end to Rajghat, are lit with more than a million earthen lamps (diyas) in honour of Ganga, the Ganges, and its presiding goddess. The gods are believed to descend to Earth to bathe in the Ganges on this day.
