Before you make the model, you make this "squares", first, with a particular proportion...

after that, you shape or smooth the squares...see my next scan picture...

after smoothing the squares, the model/doll now ready to be "filled" with the dress...see my next scan, too...

erase uneeded lines so the design looks clear...

just contact me if you need more information about this...i'm not a professional myself...it's my hobby: to design and to sew...both are equally great!...

fashion design like this is not important for me until i tried to make a shirt and i imagined it wrong about how it will fall on the body...strange isn't it? it's my design but seems i misunderstood it...but really, i did...the blouse didn't turn out well at first and then at second...(^.^)...that's why i took the course...

really, it helps!...with the proper proportion, i can see more clearly how my design will be turned out if i sew it...it also helps me in deciding on what spot the neckline will fall, and how i'm going to make the pattern...

now, for some design, before i sew it, i always make designs like this...not just drawing the clothes (technical drawing), but the doll is included!

happy fashion designing, all

Designed by Robin Partington Architects (RPA) and with integrated wooden sculptures by Walter Bailey, Park House is a 21st century Mayfair landmark.

Nine storeys high, 145 metres long, and occupying an entire city block on the south side of Oxford Street, the sleek and dramatically curving exterior of Park House gently rises above the surrounding area.

At its western end, seven floors of uncompromised office space with large, clear floor plates of 28,000 sq ft sit behind its dramatic double-height porte-cochère entrance on Park Street. Lining it's northern façade, striking double-height retail units provide flagship stores for international brands opposite the world-renowned Selfridges. The building is completed by 39 premium residential apartments, with their own entrance on North Row.
