Finally finished painting the back deck. I need to put back the teak bench that should be between the two vents, and make some covers for those vents too.

That's my daughter, Susie, taking in the deck view that overlooks New Orlean's Square, Critter Country, Frontierland and Adventureland.

Pressure treated 2 x 8 deck joists, Rhino composite deck boards.

Two days out of Southampton, the sea and weather are improving after a stormy first few days. Our first walk around Arcadia's open deck. The view of the wake at the stern of a ship is always mesmerising.

My summer 2010 project.

 

I spent most of my summer building this deck. It will be the last big project I ever take on - getting too old for this stuff.

This deck was a complete re-build,including the concrete footers. It is made with maintenance free synthetics and has color matched Aluminum Balusters.

This couple in Lutherville Maryland used to have a deck off their back door. We removed the decks, installed a nice landing and set of steps then designed and installed a spacious patio perfect for small groups or intimate evening dinners!
