Walking up the starboard side of Arcadia's promenade deck, as we steam from Southampton towards Madeira.
The Promenade Deck, deck 7 on the Sun Princess. This was the closest thing to old-fashioned cruising. I love these decks, and I spent many a day falling asleep on a deck chair with a book in my hand.
New deck is done! Here's the new west side... (note shoddy Cox cable phone service wire... that wire if the only thing keeping the west side of our house on a phone line)

After living here for seven years we finally got a deck. It was just finished a few days ago. I don't know why we never did it, but we're glad to have it now. I need to take my sander and smooth out a few spots and get rid of the stampings in a few of the boards. Then I'll give it a few weeks to dry out before I stain it.
The size of the deck is 14' x 20".
A great project to be involved in and a great place to drink a few cold beers now that its open.
