Out-of-town friends sleeping in my flat during Hacking in Parallel - Berlin (HiP-Berlin). I had to wake up early to set up for Day 2, but they didn't!
Berlin
December-2022
Decided I needed to get outside this afternoon. One of the advantages of living reasonably close to town is it takes about ten-fifteen minutes by car
My Sigma walkabout lens does some interesting distortion when its at its widest angle. Too tired to correct in PS.
So, today I got on a bus at 8:00am with 135 college students (we were on three buses) to drive to Canton, OH for Bethel's football play-off game! It was about a 15 hour bus ride each way! But, when we finally got to OH, I was met at our hotel by Beth!! So fun! We got there at midnight and hadn't eaten dinner, so Beth took me to Taco Bell. Then we celebrated her birthday and Christmas! The two bags are my gifts...I got a wonderfully fragrant Yankee candle and a very cute brown corduroy jacket. She spent the night in the hotel and is going to the game. It was SO fun to see her!

Clara - I told you I knew where Rudolph was Laney.
Laney - I'm not sure this is Rudolph. He is meant to have a red nose. Not a red all over.
Clara - Hey, little reindeer, have you got a brother with a red nose?
Laney - I've tried that. He doesn't talk.
Clara - Well, in that case he can't say he isn't Rudolph, so we can say he is.
Laney - Huh?!

“There is surely nothing other than the single purpose of the present moment. A man's whole life is a succession of moment after moment. There will be nothing else to do, and nothing else to pursue. Live being true to the single purpose of the moment.”
