Dec. 15-2019: paying a visit to my folks and making myself very happy enjoying some homegrown apples.
A post for my uncle >>>>>E & family/friends>>>> who likes to Seize the moment and celebrate family times galore E; I\'m with you my cool awesome friend.
Whatever it is, it\'ll keep till the morning
Haven\'t we both got better things to do?
Midnight blue
Even though simple things become rough, haven\'t we had enough?
And I think we can make it, one more time, if we try
One more time for all the old times
For all of the times you told me you need me
Needing me now is something I could use
Midnight blue
Wouldn\'t you give your hand to a friend?
Maybe it\'s not the end
And I think we can make it, one more time, if we try
One more time for all the old times
Midnight blue
I think we can make it, I think we can make it
Oh wouldn\'t you give your hand to a friend?

Through December I am going to show some work that I have produced in the past that has not been posted yet.*I Think?"
While a lot of New Zealand reminded me of California, I also kept running into some really interesting vegetation with foliage like I have never seen before.
This photo shows several such examples. Although I made the big tree below my main subject, all the other trees around it were unfamiliar to me, as well.
Picton, NZ
Just as we were exiting the Zealandia ecosanctuary, this colorful bird appeared out of nowhere and granted me some nice photos!
Wellington, New Zealand.
Early morning on the way to work, saw Moon and Venus. Had to pull over for a sec to take a quick photo no telephoto lens but a point and shoot camera! :)
I had never paid much attention to the common Mynah until I saw this handsome bird in Sydney, Australia
As the gap between the planets decreases, I switch to equipment with a smaller field of view. William Optics 103mm with QHY 5III 290 C, frames stacked and processed with Registax. Moon with same equipment added for scale.
Akaroa is a region that is a little like a mini Florida sticking out into the ocean on the east coast of New Zealand, just south of Christchurch. However, Akaroa is a mountainous region with a few sparse roads and it is mostly uninhabited. It is great for a drive and for hiking, though. The views of the sprawling mountains and various bays formed at the interface between the mountains and the ocean, are really spectacular.
