This scrub jay was walking around the park, picking up morsels from the grass. Here, its mouth is quite full, but it still managed to pick a bug up with the end of its beak.
She thought and sprinted back inside so fast!! It's nice and toasty inside!
Added to Happy Caturday 16 December 2023 "Hot and Cold." My internet at home is demised (need to get home from work and debug it, it was overnight and not due to a general outage.) This is going to slow down my ability to upload new pix to Flickr so, expect some not-new photos until I can get this dealt with. Luckily, this adventure of hers had not been shared with Happy Caturday previously. That day City of Portland got its deepest snowfall on record!... in the 'burbs it was only this 4" depth which was more than enough for Ms. Tikki. (The bench is on a concrete slab).
