There was nothing special about this scene when I first laid eyes on it, but my whole perspective changed as soon as I viewed through my ultra-wide angle lens (Sigma 10-20mm). Depth of field just goes on forever and that dead tree took on a more interesting detailed appeal. This was in the wooded area near Po'olenalena Beach.
Surreal and distorted? Yes, but definitely not uninteresting.
T loading up the 20 or so dead arborvitae that I singlehandedly pulled up. This is the SECOND batch. There were probably about 15 in the first batch. Just one of the things I want to yell at the former owner of this house about. I felt the need to document the tragedy of all these poor dead trees.
