This museum commemorating the Soviet rule of East Germany was very interesting and had some great displays in it. However it was also absolutely rammed.

The only standard arcade cabinet in the place is a Ms. Pac-Man cabinet repurposed as a Galaga cab. :(

Christina's Friday activity for the teens this week was DDR! Dance Dance Revolution is a video game that gets people active! Everyone had a great time trying to keep up with the dance moves!
The entire system is actually run of off a cell phone processor. That's pretty impressive when you really take a look at the particle system and lighting done in the background of the fairly large display.

When I was up in Bellingham a few weeks ago, my sis and I played on a piss-poorly hacked DDR machine. The fact that it calls itself "Plus" while having the exact same functionality any DDR-Extreme machine firmware while looking like someone had used Microsoft Publisher to design the look and feel of the machine was particularly offensive.
All of the cute graphics have been replaced by images that have to do with "working out" -- mostly scantily clad iron bods.
