Andrew got his cast off today. Yay! So, we went right home and filled up the tub for his first bath, in well, over a month.
He's not walking on his leg yet and still scoots and crawls as if it's casted. The doc said he'd figure it out soon.
More pics from the decasting coming soon!

Or something like that. I have been busy with this flower or the impression of a flower for 2 hours, and I am not yet satisfied. But the picture has to be taken today, day 21 of 2011. So it is what it is.

The one antler is floppy and broken. He hates these things... actually he's okay with them. Immediately following this he ripped them off.

We've had visitors.
I was in the forest taking photos of the Hyacinth orchids when I hear a rustling in the grass. Coming through the trees is this large male Koala. Upon seeing me he climbs into one of the nearby stringy barks. I was too slow to get any photos on the ground.

A year ago, Kurt gave me a smartphone for my birthday. I started with Android 1.6 but a few months into owning it I upgraded to 2.1 -- and that was the end of the upgrades. The battery life on my old phone sucked, and it just was so super slow. What's the point of having a smartphone if you have to wait thirty seconds or more just to pull up a text message?!
This week I finally got tired of all the issues and problems and the babying I was doing with my old phone. I couldn't hardly use it out in town because the battery was so crappy! So I bit the bullet and got myself an HTC Evo. This piece of equipment is truly beautiful. It works, quickly and easily and elegantly. I open an app, and it's there. I switch to something else, and it's there. No more waiting! It just WORKS. This is probably what it felt like when Apple folks upgraded to an iPhone 4. All I can say is that I am in LOVE.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. Yay Android.
