When I had just finished sewing this pants, I thought it was difficult to coordinate it in my real life.......it was very very funny shape. But after washing it, the fabric texture became soft and drapey and the pants shape became Lovely! Now I love this pants!
Day21
What if a picture came to life. What if their was a portrait of a portrait and reality was stuck between the two. That is essentially what this photo is.
The set up was simple. 5d on a tripod using a timer. Take a photo of just the sceen, and another of me holding the frame up. In lightroom, I put a vsco film preset on. Then I took it to photoshop and maked out my legs and head. I knew I wanted my hands to somehow reach out of the frame. I played around with a few options but this worked the best.
This photo fits into my consentration because of the dreamlike presence of a photo that became real. It also is as if I am stuck in a frame and if you want to get really deep, people only see my perception through photos and not ral life. Also color.

This made me smile, so I hope I'm not the only one that finds it fun and funny! Big Pete is basically "Comic Book Guy" from the Simpsons, but without the "nerdlier-than-thou" attitude. His store offers a completely Sheldon-worthy array of comic books, toys and collectibles. And clearly, Big Pete likes his parking close and convenient.

Trying to catch up on my homework...so finally finished Lesson 21. Bread and Honey, one of my favorite tea treats...on special occasions...actually at my age every day is a special occasion...
Just a random cat. Tried to draw my own cat (who is my little treasure) from memory. Well. ... atleast I tried.
Frog face. The screws looked like frog eyes peaking over the nose (pickup) and the bridge looked like a smile. Day 4 of week 3 theme.
Easily amused aren't I.
I headed up to Lanercost Priory, a grand building that dates back founded in 1165... but in the sleet it looked impossibly grim!
Luckily these falls are a few minutes away. It came out ok I think, given there was an evil wind and the sleet was blowing about - but just about managed with the umbrella to fire off a few frames.
That's me up to date with uploading. Just today's shot to get (clueless so far) and comments to do.

School are closed because we got 20cm of snow so Im home with my boys. Is going be crazy day ;)
