Day 21 of 365. Every morning when I sit down for my coffee and squint through the sun streaming thru the window, I wonder if we're ever going to get window coverings.
I don't even know. Yeah, I broke my arm playing soccer. For the second time in less than 3 years. Plus I've had broken knuckles. Being a goaltender means you are putting yourself out there in vulnerable positions, arms outstretched with people kicking and pushing around.
This time it's my right hand. My picture-taking hand. This is frustrating, and I don't know what it will mean for this project, but I'll just try to keep taking and posting pics. I know photographers who have to deal with a lot more restrictive physical situations (hi, Jay! <3), so.
Woke up early today to take a test at my college and hung around there for a while then stopped in NYC on the way home and haha it rained again.
Not long ago I decided I wouldn't worry about going grey. I had a coworker who had drop dead gorgeous steel grey hair that she'd wear in a plait down her back. My grandfather had white hair for many years before we kids came into the picture. One of my cousins went grey before his early twenties.
Today I had my hair pulled back in a twist ad pinned some of the fly-aways back with a pin. At one point, I finally looked in a mirror and noticed my grey coming in full force at the temples. You can' really tell in this photo, but it's there

A simple crocheted top, using viscose yarn and different size hooks to get the waist shaping.

I actually love this skirt, but it makes me nervous to wear it 'cuz it's so "short". (Although, tbh, I usually roll it up a little when I'm wearing it over tights!) A simple outfit for lunch with friends and gaming tonight.
Handmade (by me) Japanese paper, sterling silver, glass beads.
The ring was made from a piece of the paper it is pictured on.
Paper was made in the Japanese tradition using hand-beaten kozo. It is extremely thin. The inclusions are the inner bark of osage orange. The paper is soft yet tough. In hindsight I would design the ring differently, but it turned out better than expected.

I am so happy with this photo! While doing this I took a bunch of photos, stopped and loaded them onto my laptop and reviewed them, I then went back to reshoot after seeing what I liked and what I did't, although this made the process much longer I was a lot happier with my end result because I had I made sure to focus on the things I liked in the other photos I took. I normally shoot and review them briefly on my camera, but taking the time out to check them properly paid off.

Vitals: Nurse Kelly just doing her job. Even when you are getting your hair dyed purple you still have to have your vitals taken. Nurse Kelly has been an oncology nurse for over 20 years. Her expertise and knowledge has been invaluable in helping Bronwyn find her appetite again as the next picture will show.
I am soooo addicted too the internet...Sometimes it's even scary. RSS, emails, instant messengers, flickr... and so on and so on. And my work (wed-designer) is dependent on the net too, so it's vicious circle. eh...
i'm training in tae kwon do.
And for the record: Yeah, I wrote "Pow!" on my foot with sharpie. No photoshop.

Naked for Satan is of my top five bars in Melbourne, and a great place to grab a snack, covet the light fixtures, and drink great cocktails with your friends. I love how they have shaped the overall space into a series of inviting sub-spaces; I particularly love the big table out the back with the huge, twisted metal candlelabrum on it. Whoever designed the interiors - you rock!
I was extra excited to discover that they are currently building a rooftop bar - check out their Tumblr page for details of the build: nakedforsatan.tumblr.com/. Already planning my outfit for that one!
