First open the Date / Customize… panel and copy whatever Date Elements you want to use (i used the two-digit month and date like this: MM/DD). Then open the Time / Customize… panel, select Medium (which is used for the menu bar time display) and paste them into place as shown above.

Rosslyn Chapel, formally known as the Collegiate Chapel of St Matthew, is a 15th-century chapel located in the village of Roslin, Midlothian, Scotland. Rosslyn Chapel remains privately owned. The current owner is Peter St Clair-Erskine, 7th Earl of Rosslyn.
Rosslyn Chapel was founded on a small hill above Roslin Glen as a Catholic collegiate church (with between four and six ordained canons and two boy choristers) in the mid-15th century. The chapel was founded by William Sinclair, 1st Earl of Caithness of the Scoto-Norman Sinclair family. Rosslyn Chapel is the third Sinclair place of worship at Roslin, the first being in Roslin Castle and the second (whose crumbling buttresses can still be seen today) in what is now Roslin Cemetery.
Sinclair founded the college to celebrate the Divine Office throughout the day and night, and also to celebrate Masses for all the faithful departed, including the deceased members of the Sinclair family. During this period, the rich heritage of plainsong (a single melodic line) or polyphony (vocal harmony) were used to enrich the singing of the liturgy. Sinclair provided an endowment to pay for the support of the priests and choristers in perpetuity. The priests also had parochial responsibilities.
After the Scottish Reformation (1560), Roman Catholic worship in the chapel was brought to an end. The Sinclair family continued to be Roman Catholics until the early 18th century. From that time, the chapel was closed to public worship until 1861. It was re-opened as a place of worship according to the rites of the Scottish Episcopal Church, a member church of the Anglican Communion.
Since the late 1980s, the chapel has been the subject of speculative theories concerning a connection with the Knights Templar and the Holy Grail, and Freemasonry. It was prominently featured in this role in Dan Brown's bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code (2003) and its 2006 film adaptation. Medieval historians say these accounts have no basis in fact although they have led to a massive boost in visitor numbers and subsequently extra cash to restore the chapel.
The original plans for Rosslyn have never been found or recorded, so it is open to speculation whether or not the chapel was intended to be built in its current layout. Its architecture is considered to be among the finest in Scotland.
Construction of the chapel began on 20 September 1456, although it has often been recorded as 1446. The confusion over the building date comes from the chapel's receiving its founding charter to build a collegiate chapel in 1446 from Rome. Sinclair did not start to build the chapel until he had built houses for his craftsmen.
Although the original building was to be cruciform in shape, it was never completed. Only the choir was constructed, with the retro-chapel, otherwise called the Lady chapel, built on the much earlier crypt (Lower Chapel) believed to form part of an earlier castle. The foundations of the unbuilt nave and transepts stretching to a distance of 90 feet were recorded in the 19th century. The decorative carving was executed over a forty-year period. After the founder's death, construction of the planned nave and transepts was abandoned - either from lack of funds, lack of interest or a change in liturgical fashion.
The chapel stands on fourteen pillars, which form an arcade of twelve pointed arches on three sides of the nave. At the east end, a fourteenth pillar between the penultimate pair form a three-pillared division between the nave and the Lady chapel. The three pillars at the east end of the chapel are named, from north to south: the Master Pillar, the Journeyman Pillar and, most famously, the Apprentice Pillar.
One of the more notable architectural features of the Chapel is the "Apprentice Pillar” name is due to a legend dating from the 18th century, involving the master mason in charge of the stonework in the chapel and his young apprentice mason. According to the legend, the master mason did not believe that the apprentice could perform the complicated task of carving the column without seeing the original which formed the inspiration for the design.
The master mason travelled to see the original himself, but upon his return was enraged to find that the upstart apprentice had completed the column by himself. In a fit of jealous anger, the master mason took his mallet and struck the apprentice on the head, killing him. The legend concludes that as punishment for his crime, the master mason's face was carved into the opposite corner to forever gaze upon his apprentice's pillar.

An engagement photo shoot I did. They are having a photo booth at their reception, which sparked the idea for this shoot.

Coconut , Almond,Date And Sugar Free Rusk.
300g soft butter
125ml xylitol
3 free range eggs
400g tin coconut cream
200ml milk
15ml vanilla extract
500ml almond flour
500ml coconut flour
250ml desiccated coconut
20ml gluten free baking powder
3ml salt
250g chopped dates
4 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp linseed
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 27cm x 35cm baking tray.
Beat the butter and xylitol until creamy. Add eggs, coconut cream, milk and vanilla. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix in the wet ingredients. Spoon and press into the prepared tray.
Bake for about 1 hour or until brown and cooked. Decrease heat to 100°C and leave to firm for 6 hours. Cool.
Carefully cut into 2cm x 9cm rusks or whatever size you prefer. Place on cooling racks and dry in the oven for about 5 hours.

The first first-date
The gates of parenting hell have opened this week. Baton down the hatches and sound the alarm – the Young Wan has gotten herself a boyfriend.
And I mean gotten.
Teenagers are a strange bunch of people with new rules, parameters and my 14-year-old beauty has kinda asked this boy out.
I said kinda because it happened during one of those rambling nonsense text message exchanges, carried out on my mobile.
She met him a while ago and only recently started to chat and has been going on and on about him since then. So I suppose I should have seen this coming.
Anyhow they were texting and the next thing as I am trying to watch Fair City, she is whooping and hollering all around the flat shouting ‘Yes YES’.
Then she said ‘We’re going out’.
Me: ‘Oh great where are we going?’
Young Wan: ‘Noooooo we, not you and me, me and him are going out.’
Don’t parents get asked for permission anymore? Who even said she was allowed to go out with boys.
That point aside during the text conversation she said something like ‘why all the questions? Do you fancy me or sumfin? like ehm go out with me or sumfin?’
And he replied ‘if ya wanna?’
Now call me old-fashioned (yeah yeah I hear you shouting at the back) but I think he should have asked her out, or maybe I would have preferred if he had clearly asked her out instead of the unclear asking out-ish text that my daughter sent.
I am all for women taking the initiative but I would have preferred that scenario to happen when she is older. Besides his answer could have been better.
Am I just being a doting mother here? but seriously ‘if ya wanna’ doesn’t sound too enthusiastic to me. But then I am not a teenager.
How and ever, the bottom line is that she has a wee boyfriend.
When he walked her home from school on Friday in the snow, she was in romantic heaven. As I let her into the house, she was dreamily saying ‘isn’t the snow beautiful?’
‘Yeah, yeah, love’s young dream, get inside before you catch your death.’
So they had their first first-date over the weekend when he asked her to go into town to shop for a couple of hours.
The deal was the bathroom must be cleaned, my bedroom tidied and her own bedroom tidied.
She appeared to really get stuck into this work desperate to be allowed out on Saturday. But over the evening I realised that nothing was actually be doing.
There was lots of headless chicken running about antics but no actual substance tidying being done.
The full extent of this wasn’t discovered until Saturday night, luckily for her or she wouldn’t have gotten out at all.
As it was she was leaving behind a trail of destruction in the bathroom and my bedroom completely undoing whatever good had been carried out or I should say tidied up.
And off she went looking gorgeous with me videoing her going for the bus, as you do.
She was back at 5.30pm despite the 6pm deadline and she was not impressed.
There were 30 other kids out on the date. They were kicked out of McDonalds, nearly kicked out of St Stephen’s Green at which point she decided to head on home.
The treatment of teenagers who are just out and about and not causing any trouble is a topic for another day. But people should lay off them. Just because a gang of kids are hanging about does not necessarily mean they are up to mischief, far from it.
The day/date was such a non-event for the Young Wan that she even refunded me seven euro out of the tenner she went out with.
While she may have been annoyed at the sheer numbers of other kids out for the day, I on the other hand was delighted for a plethora of reasons.
I wonder what the official second date will be like? I would hate to be 14 again.
