Dating from the 1790s, the Lancaster Canal was designed to run from Kendal down to Westhoughton near Bolton. The purpose was to improve the supply of coal to Lancaster. But the canal was never completed, and the railways eventually took over the task. These days the canal runs from Tewitfield, a mile or so north of Borwick, where this narrowboat is pictured. It ends at Preston. The canal is used purely for leisure.

This scene was quite rushed as you can see and the elevator doors are jutting out of the wall and I noticed that after I destroyed the scene😣. The next scene will probably focus on the president still talking to the head of the security (ironic)

On this day, I also brought my Debonair 120, loaded with a precious roll of Kodak Ektar. And I just figured out why this roll was blank. I forgot to remove the lens cap. The lab gave me a credit for the next roll, but drats! Ektar. 😭
