I found the pattern of the stigma to be really interesting. The dandelion may be nothing more than a "crappy weed" but out of all the flowers popping up I find it to be the most interesting to look at.

Festiniog Railway dandy wagon, seen dumped at Portmadoc in September 1956. Before the introduction of steam power in 1863, empty slate wagons were hauled towards Blaenau Festiniog by horses, the animals returning to Boston Lodge on a loaded train, travelling in one of these. After 1863, they were used to carry coal.
Scanned from a 6x6cm negative taken by the late Mervyn Mason, now in my collection.
Taken on the way to work, it had a dramatic sky but not much sunlight which I thought was well suited B&W.
