CAMP TAHREER, Kuwait – Soldiers from the 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), an Army Reserve command headquartered in Orlando, Fla. and currently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, conducted a site visit here Feb. 18 with the Kuwait National Guard Support Command, observing the best supply practices while touring through multiple facilities.
“The intent of the visit was to evaluate the Kuwaiti National Guard supply system and compare their operations to ours and establish the practices for both organizations,” said Maj. Jonathan Pipkens-Smith, supply & services deputy branch chief, 143d ESC, of Avon Park, Fl.
Col. Jay Reiger, assistant chief of staff, support operations, 143d ESC, of Richmond, Va., Pipkens-Smith and their team toured the Kuwaiti central supply warehouses, with Kuwait partners, Brig. Gen. Falah Shujaa, support command commander and Col. Khaled AlJassim, logistics and supply commander, to provide an outside perspective and analysis on the Kuwait National Guard supply operations.
“This engagement is extremely important because it creates a closer bond between our Host Nation and our armed services, said Pipkens-Smith. “The most important thing is that we learn from each other and take away the best practices.”

Here is a quick screen shot I took last night to show the games I've currently been playing the most. Not really a scientific breakdown or anything, but of the 20 or 30 games I've downloaded, these are the only ones I've actually been playing:
NES emulator (via Installer)
Subway (can't find the phobos address for this puzzle game).
Now that I've typed these all out, I realize I don't even play that many of these games. None of the $10 games were really worth the money. I'd say the pricing on most games is %40 over what it should be (ie, Enigmo, Galcon, Spore, and South Park are close to $6 games... Toybot should have been $3).
By far the best game for the money is Mote-M. This desktop tower of defense game is a total steal at $1!
Toy Bot Diaries Free is also worth the download since it includes new art and levels that don't appear on the full retail version.
Not sure exactly what business is currently residing here. It says "Rising Sun Racing" and "Mopar Performance" so who knows.
I've passed this sign a billion times over the years and for one reason or another just never stopped to shoot it. I know: crazy, right? The really sucky part is that it used to be much larger, and included spider-man without his mask on being dragged by the Green Goblin.
I'm an idiot for not having photos of this before now.

If you happened to live, as I do, on the south end of Capitol Hill in Seattle, you'd find Metro Route 2 exquisitely and surprisingly useful. It will take you to the Central Library! It will take you to City Hall and the Municipal Tower! It will take you to Seattle Center and West Queen Anne! It will take you to the Central Cinema! It will take you to Madrona Park! If you need groceries, it will even take you to a Grocery Outlet, your choice of two Trader Joe's, or the Madison Market (although, really, you could walk to that).
It is taking a well-deserved break at the Madrona Park turnaround in this shot.
Special note to Routes 43 and 49: I know, I know: I take you for granted. I can't deny we've had our ups and downs, but no matter how crabby I get no frivolous weekend bus will ever come between us. Monday morning, I'll be right back at the same old stop--and I'll be waiting for you.

The Wharmton Dash fell race is part of the annual Saddleworth Summer Show, held at Churchill Playing Fields, Wellington Road, Greenfield, for those that haven’t done the race before, the final 150 meters to the finish line is a unique feature, and a great favorite with the many spectators!
Currently fascinated by the small communities and countryside alongside the M5 in Worcester. Love the contrast between rural tranquility and the rush of modern life.
So, this was taken on a winter's walk near Kerswell Green. Went there to see the church, but found myself drawn to the trees once more...

Red and black wires are +18v and ground. Yellow is output and orange is where the MOSFET source and 1.5uH inductor connect to. Tape is just to help hold the orange wire and resistor board.

Warm together in a non reactive pan over low heat. Do not allow to boil. Serve while hot.
I love this picture! I took my neice, the girl on the back left side-the one who looks scared and is grabbing my shoulder, along with me on a road trip to Colorado. We went rafting with a family of strangers who we befriended after the wild adventure. I had a blast!
