The current/future identity of this plane as a freighter for FedEx is belied by the gorgeous British Airways retro livery it sports as of the time of this photo...
This 757 is the former G-CPET, the last ever 757 British Airways ever operated!!! In anticipation of the 2010 retirement of the type from British's fleet, this plane received a paintjob into the colors that the original 757 deliveries in 1982 sported - though this particular plane first flew in 1998!
After that final revenue flight with British on October 30, 2010, the plane sat at London Heathrow Airport for 11 months, then was acquired by FedEx on February 14, 2012 for conversion to cargo use.
