So here's the cupping table - a repurposed Ikea extralong coffee table! I found a great, stable trestle for underneath, elevating the entire table up to about 4.5 feet high. The table's great because the glass top allows you to see everything below. The plan is to mostly empty out all the stuff you currently see under the glass, and just have the coffees there (along with cupping materials); I was also planning on running power directly to the table, but that's sorta off for now.
(colour repro in this photo really sucks; had my studio lights (daylight balanced) mixing with 2800K halogens. Boo!)
I think we've found a new "good" paper filter. Truncated cone (like Melitta). Cleaner than Melitta or Filtropa.
