this is the Bolivian Cup of Excellence winning coffee from grower Juan de Dios Blanco. One of the most beautiful cups of coffee I have ever tasted.
Last day here, sadly. We cupped 5 coffees, mostly from South America--from Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia, and (IIRC) Guatemala. Odd man out, as it were, was Kenya Ndumberi. Very high contrast coffees (each one, honestly), lots of fun. We were able to guess 5/5 based on the flavor descriptions on the bags—which were in Norwegian.
I went up to Richmond today to hang out with MikeB, Surrounded By Light, Jeff_M, and Phil at the Holly wood Cemetery.
It was a hoot. Some statues feel ashamed, however. A couple need showers. It's all in a day of fun.

Panama - Wilford Lamastus Natural
floral, wild strawberry
Panama - Esmaralda Geisha Pascua Washed
clean, bergamot, lime och soy
The technique of cupping is done by creating a suction force within the cup. An alcohol doused cotton ball is lit in the cup. As soon as it is taken out, the suction force is created and the cup is placed on the appropriate spot on the body.
