One more robot, this one programmed to solve the Rubik's Cube. The kids in the solver contest elsewhere in the hall all did it faster.

This is the space I have been sitting in for almost five months. My monitor, my phone, a magazine, an organization chart, and a brochure about emergency procedures. My knee basically rests against my CPU; it's directly under my mouse support.

Crystal Gifts

Crystals are earth's gifts to us. Crystals are the most beautiful minerals.  Their living energy has their-own frequency and their vibrations can be further amplified by the human mind.

Every shape emits a very specific energy pattern and a person who meditates on a yantra or an image tunes into this specific frequency.  Images of yantras or Gods represent a magical key to connect you with the specific positive vibration of the Universe.  Directing your thoughts to these archetypal planes you tune into a way to live the inherent balance of nature.

Our spiritual gift selection is designed to inpire your meditation and your spiritual growth.

Keychains and Crystal Cubes Personalised with your message

Our selection of spiritual gifts is 'unique and unusual' because each item is designed with care and knowledge...

We have a selection of beautiful crystal personalised gifts with a laser image of:

Sri Yantra - The Sri Yantra in the 3 dimensional shape (Meru in Sanskrit) is a Pyramid grid signifying unlimited Universe and its abundance.  Meaning of Shree is 'Wealth’.

3 Buddhas - Meditating on the image of Buddha or repeating a mantra, your ordinary body, speech and mind are purified and transformed into Buddha's holy body, holy speech and holy mind.

Shiva - It is Siva who makes you realise your essential Divine Nature. Siva created the idea of egoism, Karma, pleasure and pain.  It is Siva who offers Moksha or freedom.  Om and Siva are one.

Venus - Venus is the Goddess of LoveLiving love, we start listening to our inner-most being.  Touched by the Love Magic we open, and dissolve our boundaries.

Tantric merge to remind you of the sacredness of sexuality

Each crystal that you purchase can be personalised with your words.  We will laser engrave your words making your gift truly unique and personal.

Personalised Message

If you wish to personalise your gift, you could add your message to it.  We suggest adding 1 to 6 words. If the item you bought is small (keychain) it is the best to have only 1-3 words.  Stay creative and inspired! www.artof4elements.com

While this isn't how I ultimately solved it, I will admit to having gotten frustrated enough that I tried to pry apart the cube to rearrange the pieces. Couldn't do it, though.

Cube Cola is an open source project that originated at the Cube Cinema in Bristol. They wanted an alternative to Pepsi or Coca Cola, so they went open source.

The super cool wall that Toggi painted...

Sculptures by Sol LeWitt installed at City Hall Park.

A 4x4x4 LED cube made with single colour blue LEDs. The rows are driven by two shift registers (one for 8 LEDs, so two cover a whole row of 16). The rows are multiplexed via 4 transistors and persistence of vision gives the illusion all four rows are on at once.

The shift registers and transistors are driven by an Arduino Duemilanove.

Unfortunately the auto focus on my camera decided to focus somewhere other than the cube or electronics.
