Quick shot, nothing special except for the cool looking Cube. While a fact of life is people in a shot, some times you just have to hide them.
David Nash describes the cube, sphere and pyramid as ‘universal forms’ that we naturally see in our environment. He has placed this bronze Cube, Sphere, Pyramid so that their black forms are reflected in the trunks of the surrounding tree ferns.
Universal forms in nature
Squares, triangles and circles are the underlying, universal shapes and forms of nature - Nash often observes them in the hills and slate tips of his surroundings in Wales. The sphere has a rounded, turning feel, the cube has stability and the pyramid is dynamic.
'For over thirty years, I have lived at the foot of one of Blaenau Ffestiniog's slate tips, formed from unusable slate from the workings... the structure of the tip is one of horizontal and diagonal lines,' Nash explains. 'My work involves geometric cuts into the natural form of the wood and I think that these geometrical forms have grown in me while I have lived among these slate tips.'

I missed this place, have several shots to work on, and some projects, but I need time, or at least scape a bit from the routine...
This was easy and fun. Only took me about 30 min. I wanted to do this for a long time, so around 3:20 a.m. I decided to do it, simple but it's done. There are about 65 frames, the model is my Rubik's Cube, mounted the camera on a tripod, and used Picasa to make the video. Music is "Searching for Truth" by Dj Tiesto.
No editing of the photos, and used a lamp on left for ilumination, and nice shadow.

This is showing the growing tesseract (hypercube) that follows motion in the movie and dices up anyone unfortunate to get caught by it.

I played a map on Gmod recently and it was beautiful. And it was only cubes! This is my rendition of it.
In the international flight terminal of Pearson Airport there is an interesting floor-to-ceiling water tank that houses hundreds of clear cubes (and a few orange) that circulate and move about throughout the tank.
