I was pretty surprised to find the Cube at Astor Place was replaced by this thing. But it turns out it's being fixed and will be back shortly.
Matt did really well at his first rubik's cube competition.... he even got a personal best time of 56 seconds at the meet!
Architecture
Kubuswoningen, or cube houses, are a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam and Helmond in The Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of “living as an urban roof”: high density housing with sufficient space on the ground level. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45 degrees, and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. This cube was designed by David Mitchell and it was published on his book Paper Crystals, for the first cube I folded I used regular printer paper. Then I decided to fold a smaller one... It only takes like 5 min to fold and assemble the whole thing.

As the big red 'wheel' rolled back towards where the camera is sited it was guided by the pegs going into the holes on the rim and the road deck, which was attached to the wheel, was thus raised so that ships could pass through I believe it was driven by high pressure water.

I love Emil's microwave. I laugh whenever I go into the kitchen.
Today me, Emil and Anna ordered 10 plastic garden flamingos from ebay. I'm sure it will be worth the 80 dollars.
