Today Bonny and I had the pleasure of acting in the next episode of Cube Girl!!! It was a blast to shoot with Kim and Robert as well as the other actors, Beth and Grant. They have a very successful show called Cube News 1, if you have not seen it I recommend checking it out right ofter you see these photographs from today.
It is amazing how each New Media Production crew works. We all work completely differently from each other yet somehow it all seems so familiar. Kim and Robert had a script, shot-list, and a really good schedule for the shoot. That is so cool to see in action and how it worked so well.

A swarm of cubes after the Cube Project.
In a short period when the LEA AIR sims where free for a night and a day, i could test some more Cube swarms.
I didn't keep count but in total i used 7500 prims / 12 = 625 cubes = 5 x 5 x 5 x 5. Here you can see some images, but it would be better to film it, to see the behavior.
I used the swarm script of Apotheus Silverman.

I changed a few parameters and the behavior or state (flex or not flex)of the rootprim to get some control over the swarm.
Still every moment hundreds go off sim and end up in Lost an found folder.
The Cubes are 10m x 10m x 10m and each edge is formed by a 10 x 0.2 x 0.2 m Prim . The Swarm traveled over 2 sims (a sim is 256x256x4096m ) the day later it seemed they used all 20 sims :-) .
Cube steak, wrapped over bacon and onions. Simmered for nearly an hour and served with gravy. Delicious!

"They were created by Basque artist Augustín Ibarrola on the large reinforced cubes that arrived in the 1930’s to act as a breakwater and the blocks protected the harbour from fierce winter storms. It has been described as one of the major works of public art and within it there are elements of the history of the town, the region and the artist himself. ‘The Cubes of Memory’ represents the seafaring tradition and the hunting of whales; it refers to nature with a riot of flowers, also symbolic of all the floral festivals of Llanes; there are examples of fruit on the cubes, apples and citrus fruits, which were the main agricultural and export products in the nineteenth century and makes links between man and his history and invite the observer to get to know the land here.
