Rubik's Cube is a 3-D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik. Originally called the Magic Cube, the puzzle was licensed by Rubik to be sold by Ideal Toy Corp. in 1980 via businessman Tibor Laczi and Seven Towns founder Tom Kremer, and won the German Game of the Year special award for Best Puzzle that year. As of January 2009, 350 million cubes had been sold worldwide making it the world's top-selling puzzle game. It is widely considered to be the world's best-selling toy.
A swarm of cubes after the Cube Project.
In a short period when the LEA AIR sims where free for a night and a day, i could test some more Cube swarms.
I didn't keep count but in total i used 7500 prims / 12 = 625 cubes = 5 x 5 x 5 x 5. Here you can see some images, but it would be better to film it, to see the behavior.
I used the swarm script of Apotheus Silverman.

I changed a few parameters and the behavior or state (flex or not flex)of the rootprim to get some control over the swarm.
Still every moment hundreds go off sim and end up in Lost an found folder.
The Cubes are 10m x 10m x 10m and each edge is formed by a 10 x 0.2 x 0.2 m Prim . The Swarm traveled over 2 sims (a sim is 256x256x4096m ) the day later it seemed they used all 20 sims :-) .
Paper: 7.5 cm Harmony
Modules: 6 face modules
Model: Meenakshi Mukerji
Book: Origami Inspirations p.31-32
I used harmony paper with white centre for Meenakshi's beautiful butterfly cube. That turned out very well for the butterflys (see other photo in my stream), white centres were decorated with matching glas pearls.
Very stable locking mode, hence no glue needed.
Edit: Replaced by a better photo.

A panoramic view of some cube houses located in the center of Rotterdam.
They are often considered a symbol of modern Dutch architecture.
Their shape makes for an interesting interior design I'm sure!

I'm selling those cubes at the Dutch Market for 10L each and 25L the fat pack.
