My Third build for #MECHtober2021

What's MECHtober you ask? Simply build four mechs in October, one mech a week, and they should all be in the same 'family' - check few posts back for more details!

A puzzle to try and get all the little cubes into one big cube!

After I already showed the exterior view of the Glass Cube (see comment field), today you can see the first interior shot.

The Glass Cube serves as a modern presentation center for the manufacturer of fine drinking vessels and glass accessories. However, the Leonardo Glass Cube is not an ordinary showroom; instead, with its impressive glass facade and sophisticated interior design, it offers a lounge-like club atmosphere.

The building, constructed between 2004 and 2007, combines the fields of building, interior, and landscape architecture into a modern architectural work of art. The project was planned and implemented by the architectural team 3deluxe.

This magnificent Nuva cube was 3D printed by a BIONIFIGS member known as Vahki6, the same guy who made a tahu 2015 cosplay, many human sized kanohis, a transformer mech tech weapon . . . go check his Deviant art gallery, it's worth it! vahki6.deviantart.com/

Playing around with some things this evening and came up with this idea for a cube frame.

Now, to all maths geniuses: how many squares can you find in the 6x6 square in the center?

The surface is almost completely black in this setup until the cubes erupt through it.

These are the iconic Cube Houses (Kubuswoningen) in Rotterdam. According to Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cube_house) they "are a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam and Helmond in the Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of "living as an urban roof": high density housing with sufficient space on the ground level, since its main purpose is to optimise the space inside. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45 degrees, and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. His design represents a village within a city, where each house represents a tree, and all the houses together, a forest. The central idea of the cube houses around the world is mainly optimizing the space, as a house, to a better distribution of the rooms inside."

An intended abstract view of the Malta parliament building in Valletta. An extreemly impressive modern building but possibly at odds with the old historic nature of the city.

Our Daily Challenge 16-22 July : Puzzle

I've quite a collection of these maddening objects!

Shot taken for Saturday Self Challenge 07/01/2023 -

Cubes , but in Black & White

First thought of Oxo Cubes , but then remembered I had done that before for the challenge . I then thought of ice cubes , cubes in maths but was getting stuck indoors . Grab camera when I had to go to town for some bits and saw square planters at a cafe with small trees stuck in them but could not get the angle for them - however , just up the street outside of the Jewellers there were these two cube planters with advertising on the ends and sides and some right dry and weedy plants/grasses in them . After all the rain we have had lately I am not sure why they are looking so drought ridden - or have they just past their prime ??

Anyway , I hope these two planters are cubic enough to meet the challenge - I did not have a tape to check the dimensions but including the the bit they are sitting on they looked pretty much a cube . One idea I had was to stick my head under the bonnet of an American muscle car and take a shot of what would probably be a 429 or 457 " Cubic " inch motor - but don't have a muscle motor and probably would not fit the challenge !!

and for Sight & Sound , with those plants in mind --

Dry County .
