When the wind is right on bridge, connecting tea Gardens and Hawks Nest (NSW) will sing – allegedly. They call it Singing Bridge, but I remain sceptical: the night I stayed there, the wind was a Force 5 gale. yet when I climbed the bridge the ironwork kept quiet. Though maybe just couldn’t compete with the songs howling out of the pub on Moira Avenue.
On the way to Hawkes Nest, Jimmys Beach Reflections Caravan Park for a night with T and M..

While there were very dark clouds over lower Tuolumne County, California, all day, it did not rain here. But friends 25-35 miles east up Hwy 108 reported heavy rain that afternoon.

Into the third month of Winter (2015), and California's drought continues. These magnificent clouds brought no rain to the Central San Francisco Bay Area.
Our sky was filled with these beautiful cumulus clouds with heavy wind and no rain. I know there's a lot to this series but as a science geek and lover of weather I couldn't decide on just one, I wanted to share all of its beauty with you
A pleasant afternoon compelled me to walk around my current neighborhood today for the first time. This was taken 32 minutes before sunset.
Incoming clouds for possible showers a few weeks before the end of California's July 1st - June 30th precipitation year.
Also known as Blue Krait.
Location: Kedah, Malaysia
Local name: Ular Katam Tebu
Thai: Ngoo tap saming kla, or ngoo kan plong
Length: 1.2m, max 1.6m
Toxicity: Very venomous (fatal)
Malayan krait or blue krait, is a species of krait, a venomous elapid snake.
Distribution: Entire southeast Asia from south Indochina south to Java and Bali in Indonesia.
Venom: In mice, the IV LD50 for this species is 0.1 mg/kg (Tan, N. H., 2013). It has caused an untreated mortality rate of 60-70% on humans. Blue Krait’s venom consists of extremely powerful neurotoxins (presynaptic and postsynaptic toxins). This "venom cocktail" directly impair the victim's capacity for thought or speech and have the power to immobilize the musculoskeletal system. Secondly, it also attacks victim’s respiratory system, causing suffocation within hours. However, if left untreated, death can come within four hours. The most horrifying fact is that the bite causes no pain, hence giving the victim false reassurance.

Fantastic evening walking around the gardens at Inverewe. Then a walk back to the van for dinner, at dusk. Gin and tonics on this yacht at anchor, we wish!
We had a beautiful wander around these gardens in the most perfect light. But at the moment they are closed as the National Trust Scotland has decided to close them in the evenings for some obscure reason. You can help in the campaign to keep them open at this website..
