Gorgeous street rod, a 1932 Ford Roadster. Taken at a gathering of cars in a parking lot by a doughnut store. They do this every Saturday morning in Huntington Beach, California.

After more than three months of high temperatures and no sign of rain on the horizon, promising clouds are gracing our sky.
To put this into perspective, my back yard rain gauge has recorded less than 10 inches of rain since October 1, 2020.
Today the Turkey Vultures enjoyed the high winds and I was enchanted with the clouds. A very pleasant day to be outdoors.
No conference calls, no spreadsheets or teams, no bad coffee, no confining walls ... just me, fresh air, my camera and the universe. Everything was in order.

And now, for the long, warm evenings of Summer!
I usually stick to the astronomical seasons marked by the equinox and solstice, but long daylight makes my personal summer late May through early October. Of course, I watch plant life, as well.

13,794pix wide, zoom in a few times!
A walk or stroll and wander from Ngunnawal to Yerrabi Pond.
All these images were shot with the Sony a6000 using the SEL55210 zoom lens, sent by Wi-Fi to the iPad, a few cropped there, then using the DELL laptop I logged onto iCloud and downloaded the three images to make the pano via a ZIP file to the DELL. The others, and the iPhone 8 shots were uploaded
There, I used ICE to stitch the pano, add tags, edit descriptions and add to Albums and Groups..

After a long, hot and dry summer, wildfires started in August 2025 to devastate Spain. This one happened August the 11th in Tres Cantos, north of Madrid, very close to densly populated areas. Fortunatelly the damage was limited due the fast and valiant intervention of firefighters.

I grew up with this view of San Francisco Bay from the Berkeley Hills. The telephone poles on the right side of the picture were often an intrusion in sunset photos from the living room or bedrooms.
This photo was taken in mid-Fall, with the sun setting at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge. San Francisco is on the left side, behind a large Monterey Pine.
