The former large factory Csepel Művek area in Budapest - the following album shows some buildings and scenes in this very interesting area. Some buildings are abandoned, some smaller factories are still there and operating.
in hungarian the 'shagpile' = 'porcica', and the 'por' = dust, the 'cica' = little cat. :) model on picture: Edit.

This old lady was put into service in 1966.04.30. Just let that sink in, she is 53 years old! Despite that, she is still in quite nice condition, and altough she recieved a new coat of paint in the classic BHÉV livery some years ago, a good wash wouldn't hurt.
Read more about the MIX/A:
These 760mm gauge 4-wheel diesel mechanical locomotives were built by MÁV Északi főműhely and fitted with a 50hp Csepel-Steyr D413 diesel engine. The class C50's were often the loco of choice for the former AEV (Állami Erdei Vasutak) State Forestry Railways in Hungary. By the mid 1990's after the fall of communism most of the AEV lines were being run down, closed or sold to cooperatives and local operating groups. The Mesztegnyöi Erdei Vasút (Mesztegnyö Forest Railway) was one such line. In 1991 it changed hands being operated by SEFG (Somogyi Erdő-és Fafeldolgozó Gazdaság Rt.) a private concern. The 760mm gauge line operated from a sawmill at Mesztegnyö beside the MÁV mainline and ran for 8.8kms to Felsőkak with four short spurs serving timber loading points. As with several other ex AEV lines a public passenger services was advertised subject to demand and this particular line was one of the few to offer an all year round service, albeit one train a day out and back to the line end at Felsőkak during the afternoon.
Loco no.D22 is seen shunting at Mesztegnyö while the yard staff use birch twig brooms to clear recent snow from the points.
