4 months ago I promised Michal that I'll compose my, as he said "own private means of transportation" into one of my photos. Well, that day has come today!

On the left is my current backup bike, a simple but unbreakable Csepel Camping. This model is one of the most successful bicycles ever built, with over 1 million of them produced from the 60s up to the early 2000s.

Behind it on the rails one of Ganz MÁVAG's class M41 loco built in 1978 is pulling its passenger train towards Felsőpakony.

Elektrische locomotief L VII 86 van Budapesti Helyiérdekű Vasút (BHÉV) in depot Csepel; 4 september 2017. Enkele van de tien begin jaren veertig geleverde locomotieven worden op diverse plekken langs het BHÉV-net nog achter de hand gehouden voor calamiteiten en werktreinen.

I think that just seven sets of type MIXa stock remain operating, all at Csepel depot, and there is also a set at the transport museum. They were built 1965/6 by MÁV's Dunakeszi works to a design by BKV (Budapest Transport) and used East German electrics. They are much more stylish than the following MX/MXa type trains built in East Germany, one of which is in the adjacent platform in this view from 11 September 2017. They work line H7.
