A csepeli HÉV-vonal, melyet 1951. április 29-én adták át (a menetrend szerinti közlekedés csak később, május 1-jén indult meg) mindössze 6,7 km hosszú, ám annál jelentősebb. Ez az egyetlen kötöttpályás közlekedés Csepelről a város fele. Érdekesség továbbá hogy menetrend szerint csak ezen a vonalon közlekednek a több mint 50 éves MIX/A típusú hév szerelvények.

The tallest water tower of Hungary stands in Kossuth Street in Budapest, 70 m height, about 3000 m³ volume, built in the early 80's.
The MIX/A series three-part electric multiple units manufactured between 1963 and 1966 are the oldest passenger vehicles of the MÁV-HÉV. Of the seven small units that have been running on the H7 HÉV line since 1996, only two will be operating in 2025. In the picture, the large unit consisting of the last two remaining small units with track numbers 841-621-842 and 849-625-850 is traveling from Boráros Square to Csepel, at front of the Müpa – National Theatre stop, on 2025.09.01 with the panorama of Budapest in the background. The Budapest local railway (originally abbreviated as BHÉV, in colloquial terms just HÉV) is the railway system operating in the Hungarian capital and its agglomeration. There are five HÉV lines operating in Budapest.
MÁV-HÉV Helyiérdekű Vasút exploiteert vier voorstadslijnen rond Budapest. Op een daarvan rijden de zeven overgebleven treinstellen serie M IXA uit het begin van de jaren zestig. Deze zijn, in tegenstelling tot de rest van de treinstellen die uit de DDR afkomstig zijn, van Hongaars fabrikaat. Op 15 januari 2023 vertrekt treinstel 849/850 van station Boráros tér naar Csepel.

Na de tweede 418 verruilden we Kispest voor de hoofdstad, voordat we ’s middags naar de lijn terugkeerden. We eindigden aan de Donau-rivier in het stadsdeel Pest, waar Tijs een toren vond met mooi uitzicht op de rivier en het stadsdeel Buda aan de overkant. Het beeld werd ook gevuld met één van de spoorlijnen van het “HÉV” voorstadnetwerk, dat zich het best laat vergelijken met de S-Bahn zoals we in Duitsland kennen. De lijnen zijn weliswaar aangelegd op Europees normaalspoor, maar zijn door de bovenleiding spanning van 1100V gelijkstroom vrij uniek. De "Helyiérdekű vasút" (afgekort HÉV, in NL: “trein van lokaal belang”) kent vijf lijnen en wordt volledig bereden met treinstellen uit de jaren ’70 of ouder, die nog in vrij oorspronkelijke (maar perfecte) staat rondrijden. Bovenop de toren was er precies genoeg ruimte tussen de bomen om tijdens het bekijken van het uitzicht wat foto’s te maken van dit verder vrij onbekende materieel:
Net vertrokken van het beginpunt aan het “Boráros” plein t.h.v. het viaduct rijdt één van de HÉV stellen een stuk parallel aan de Donau op de H7-lijn naar het stadsdistrict “Csepel”. Aan de overkant van de rivier springen de “Citadella” bovenop de heuvel en de “Budavári Palota” burcht net rechts daarvan in de aandacht, maar dat is slechts een greep uit de vele prachtige en indrukwekkende oude gebouwen die de stad rijk is en hier te zien waren.

In Budapest gibt es außer Bus, Obus und Straßenbahnen neben der Metro auch noch S-Bahnartige Züge, so wie die Strecke vom Boráros tér nach Csepel. Auf dieser Strecke kann man noch richtig alte nostalgische Fahrzeuge erleben.

The new National Theatre is on the bank of the Danube in the Ferencváros district, situated on Soroksári road, Grand Boulevard, and Rákóczi Bridge. It is a five minute walk from the Csepel HÉV (suburban railway). The Memorial of the Old National Theatre is located on the National Theatre grounds. The theatre is 20,844 square meters (224,362.95 square feet), including an open-air stage. Functionally, it can be separated into three parts:
The central unit, including the rounded auditorium and studio stage;
The gangways, public areas, and horseshoe-shaped servicing areas;
The surrounding park, which contains numerous memorials commemorating the Hungarian drama and film industry.
